The poster decries Quins and Crusaders but then highlights the lack of funding faced by the demoted club...ie, no more SKY money.
Hands up anyone who thinks RL would be in as good a state now if Sky hadn't ploughed millions in...seriously...go on...tell us how a northern pastime, watched by crowds smaller than we get at Quins for an academy game would have grown to be as big as it is now....without murdochs money?
Please...enlighten me.
BskyB want RL to be a national sport....it attracts better ad pounds if it is national. The M62 game that it pre SL was the real laughing stock...you shared a commentator with it's a knockout FFS.....
Get with the programme.....you may not like it, but the game is far better off for the experiment that is London and Catalans.....and given time, Crusaders at the expense of Leigh and Halifax who both failed in SL.
Talk of kicking out Quins is based on attendances and imaginary bail outs.....whilst you'd have 900 people at the Shay to watch Fax v HKR as it was in 1993......get a grip
'"
900? Surely if it was HKR they would have brought 900,000! It must have been a good day for fishing or something.
