To drive would take you:

Cairns to Townsville = 4 - 4.5 hours
Innisfail to Townsville = 3-3.5 hours
Mount Isa to Townsville = over 10 hours.

Weather looks great for Perth's game, my prediction is around 17k. Anything over 18k I'll be wrapped, anything under 17k I'll be disappointed.
Only downer is the early 6pm KO which may or may not effect turn out.

Reckon we might see 20k+ in Perth tonight.....further evidence that certain Sydney clubs need to up their game with regard to attendances....Penrith, Cronulla, Roosters and the Eels...one of them has to make way for a new franchise IMO

Correct on all counts. I understand the commercials of it and that fans aren't the be all and end all, but the Eels are a worry. The good people of Sydney were out in force over the weekend in a number of codes...all good! If the powers that be decided to build stadiums with cover from the rain, it may continue all season long.
