If he doesn’t perform at Leigh we may decide to loan him out to a SL club.

| If you look at the statistics, you find that just over half of the new players that fans want to see play for either Catalans Dragons or Hull Kingston Rovers. This suggests that not only have these two clubs bought well, but that they will also have some benefit from increased fan interest.

and neither France or England will have any chance of winning an international tournament, and potential players will walk away from the game as they will realise all their hard work, ably assisted by the now discredited "development" system, is all in vane.
RL is turning itself into a mini version of Mo & Ron Ball's game English premier league.
Ah well that's the future it would seem. Short termism and instant gratification with minimal, if any hard work.

| 75% plus of rl,fans don't care if england continue to get beat by Australia if it means they get to see their team lift a trophy at Wembley or old Trafford. Tbh after 30 years watching us lose test matches I'm not that bothers either and would rather see us win at Wembley again and pack out our ground every game with a winning team.

| I don't see why fans would prefer to watch a prop forward running into defending players with no intention of ever passing the ball, as opposed to an elusive half who has speed and deceptive footwork to beat a defender, or else may pass to a better placed support, or kick the ball over the defensive line to chase or to gain ground. The latter player is, to me, obviously more interesting and exciting to watch.

Possibly because as Fui would say " we like the SMASH "
Apart from Carneys drinking preferences nobodies heard of him or the other bloke, but we've all heard of Fui

Fui Fui Moi Moi -- Leigh Centurions
Benjamin Roberts -- Castleford Tigers
Villiami Sione "Willie" Tonga (try) -- Catalans Dragons
Kenneth Sio (try) -- Hull Kingston Rovers

Enjoyed first few minutes of the clip with the try by Matt Ryan who is playing his second season for Trinity in 2015!
Looking forward to Lopini Paea and Mikael Simon surprise a few with some strong running performances against some of the bigger names.

Because every game of Rugby League (there are some very occasional exceptions) is won and lost in the pack. If your forwards aren't earning you a fair crack, then guys like Carney may aswell not even be on the field. I for one admire guys like Chris Hill or James Graham more than any back you have on your list.

| Quote ="brearley84"Carney and Sims, the others either past it, wont see them as they are not in SL or just fringe nrl players'"
Sims is the epitome of fringe NRL players, no doubt he had a good season in 2014, but he has been in and out of reserve grade his whole career. Wire fans seem to think he's on big money? They also seem to think they have signed an NRL enforcer. My gut feeling is that he would not be on average wages, he could have been on average money in Aus. (average NRL wages are well above SL due to the much bigger cap and 3rd party payments). There are more than a few SL players who could offer a better return on less cap space than Sims, Kirke, Scruton, Millington, Bailey, Lovegrove, Huby.
I picked Cuthbo, purely due to me been a Rhino, not sure if he will be awesome or average? My other is Carney, who has the ability to to make Lyon at Saints look average.

| I'm genuinely looking forward to seeing Luke Walsh play. I feel like he missed so much of last season he'll be like a new signing. And this year he's got an effective stand-off alongside him too. A novel experience for all spectators at langtree park.

| I will be watching how Lucas and his halves partner deal with Todd Carney and his partner (Scott Dureau or Thomas Bosc). That will be one of the highlights of Round 1 in February.

| Dear fans,
I apologise for what I have done accidentally. In order to satisfy the growing demand for a chance to vote for Terence Campese, I entered the poll box and added his name, not realising that I would destroy the existing body of votes. Thus I regret to inform you that all votes have been annulled. (for the record I think it was Todd Carney clearly in front with 37 votes, followed by Fui Fui Moi Moi on 29, and then I think it was Albert Kelly and Ashton Sims on 23 followed by Kenneth Sio on 13).
Anyway please feel free to vote again for your two choices, in the light of the emergence of Campese as part of the list.

I agree with the above (reluctantly as JC posted it) and have gone for two half-backs in Carney and Roberts.
Carney is a magical player and it will be intreging to find out if he can rebuild his career - if he can find his form we are in for a treat.
Roberts simply because I will be watching him every week for my team.

Sorry for the omission. I didn't recall his signing. But even if he is a good buy, he won't have the same impact as the major contenders on the list I have assembled.
