| Adult tickets for the North Stand at Hull are not £27. They cost £25 on the day, or £23 if bought in advance.
£23 is the same price as an unreserved ticket for our East Stand. East Stand reserved are £24, and West Stand is £24.
As someone has said, our South Stand is discounted this year, and is £19. There's nothing stopping fans of other clubs going in this stand.

Not according to your club website - on 27th Feb, just prior to our visit, the price goes up.
I wouldn't normally quibble about a couple of quid, but charging more for away supporters is a bloody liberty.

It’s beyond belief that some people will try and justify a separate pricing policy for a different set of fans in the same kind of seats. It’s an out and out scam on the away fans and everyone should boycott it. The Rugby League family is no more, we are just like football. Hull should be ashamed of themselves and the RFL should get involved and put an end to discriminatory policy!

Until the RFL draw up a set of rules and guidelines for this sort of thing (as exists in football as far down the 'pyramid' as you can think) then it will keep happening, simple as that. Similarly, some clubs charge a pre-purchase discount when bought through the home club, yet the away club are instructed to sell their tickets at the full price, again because there aren't any rules in place.

Why would prices suddenly go up after the 27th Feb? Give Wakefield ticket office a call and you'll get an advance ticket for £23. Job done - stop whinging.

I've just called the Hull FC ticket office to clarify the price for the Wakefield game.
£25 pay on the day, or £23 if bought from Wakefield (probably with a proportion of that going to Wakefield themselves).
As I said before, there's nothing stopping you going in the South Stand.

Your a bit late bud, Wakefield rang them yesterday regarding the ticket pricing! After the 27th of February for all games (including Wakefield's) the price for the North Stand (Away fans), are to go to £25 if pre purchased, and £27 pay on the gate.
Now, they kindly kept it at £23 (Before 27th of Feb) & £25 (for pre purchase after the 27th of Feb & pay on the gate) for Wakefield's visit but whether it stay's like that i doubt. So it'll be interesting to see what Widnes fans views are as there next to visit the KC after us.

Fair enough.
If that's the case and it does go up to £27, then that's disgraceful.
Edit: Are you sure that the 27th isn't simply a deadline for people to get their advance tickets at £23 from your club, and everything after this will be £25?

No we didnt, your prices are to increase on the 27th Feb. However, everyhing has changed in the space of 24 hours and if we buy our tickets BEFORE the 27th of Feb, we can beat the increase.
Apology not expected as it might put another £2.50 on the most expensive tickets in SL
To be more expensive than Shudds is not a great acolade

No, the deadline to purchase tickets at the advance price of £23 is the 27th. It's £25 thereafter. Jesus Christ you lot are dim.

| The article can be read two ways.
I think the more likely scenario is that the 27th is the last day you can pay in advance (£23). After that date you pay the pay on the gate price (£25).
I reckon that is more likely than Hull FC changing their pricing policy on the 27th of Feb.
I think the 'gesture to loyal Hull fans', probably looks like a PR mistake now. More realistically, I suspect it reflects an effort to attract floating Hull fans rather than reward loyal ones, while realising that travelling fans tend to be the hardcore who'll not be put off by a few quid here or there - they might now stay away on principal though, which is why it could turn out be be a boo-boo.

| firstly we are not charging away fans more to sit in the ground, hull fc fans who choose to sit in the east stand or west are being charged the same!
as for the south stand, why cant the club reward its own fans or try to get them back to watch games!?
as for the OP maybe he should have checked the fc website before posting fasle prices! also the wakey website has a lot to be desired if it cant post accurate pricing policy for away games!

It was an initial error on our own website where the incorreect prices were stated.
I dont think that you should try and take the moral high ground about being the most expensive venue in SL
Please explain in words of one sylabul why it is so much cheaper at the opposite end of the ground, which is basically
the same view of the game.
BTW, Jesus Christ is someone completely different, I dont think he posts on RL Fans

To some extent I can see that a club should be free to charge as it sees fit, to suit its circumstances. And fans can take it or leave it as [ithey[/i see fit. You'll recall no doubt Rovers discounting the South Stand at CP when demand was low (nearly always), then raising it for derby games. So I'm not trying to preach from any sort of moral highground.
The issue is serious enough though that the football league have a rule against it, so I don't think it can be easily dismissed. The North and South are equivalent to each other, not to the East and West. Your wiggle room is that away fans can go in the South - but as the tickets you send to other clubs are for the North, it is only a partial defence.
=#4000BFFootball League clubs are obligated to charge away fans the same price as home fans pay in equivalent areas except on four occasions per season when they are allowed to offer so-called “local promotions”. What relevance the 'moral high ground' comment has I've no idea.
I came on to this thread, and the other one on the Wakey board, to correct those wrongly thinking the north stand was £27.
Now, if you asked me if at £23/£25 the North stand is overpriced, I would say yes - of course it is, but it is comparable with the West & East stands at the KC (I also think they too are expensive).
The South Stand has been discounted for this season & we also have a small family section in the West stand that is cheap. You can buy tickets in both.

that is football, not rugby, and until any rule changes state that rugby must do the same, the club aren't braking any rules, already posted on the wakey site that ourselves and rovers fans have the furthest to travel to all games in SL due to location, not counting london or catalan as the numbers they bring just fill a mini bus, all other clubs have clubs within short distance of each other, fans complaining about the cost of the kc should think themselves lucky! apart from rovers, the nearest ground to hull is 45 minutes away and plenty lay out travel costs on top of ticket costs without moaning! away fans at the kc have always been poor in number, regardless of the prices!

I'm not suggesting any rules are being broken! Just that the concerns expressed are not unique or completely unreasonable.
Neither of our clubs can reasonably lay the disadvantages of K-u-Hull's location at the doors of the other clubs, so I'm not sure it is very compelling mitigation.
To me it's a hardnosed and economically legitimate decision. I can understand why it's been done, but also why it isn't seen as fair. See also CP South Stand premium prices for the derby.
This, like that, has failed to slip under the radar. That may or may not undermine the commercial rationale. Probably not, IMO - you'll just have to read or avoid a lot of moaning on here.

its all well and good making season tickets cheap but that does not encourage new "turn up on the day" supporters, who then have to pay top whack.
