| Still finding his feet is Tom, he's not hitting his level of 16 which isn't surprising, but its only a matter of time.

Yeah but they are not Chester's words are they, they are your words and as ever they are typical nonsense Johnstone wasn't dropped, he was rested (Chesters actual words) as he is still suffering some inflammation to hid knee - you may recall he's coming back from a potentially career threatening injury.
Any chance of you not absolute fool?
Seriously do you really want us to believe that a pro like Chester goes around slagging his players off to random Cas fans?

| Chester's comments on radio Leeds post match definitely suggested players had been dropped for poor performances.

Chester did indeed confirm on the radio both Johnstone and Pauli weren't selected and that it wasn't due to injuries.
Although he didn't actually use the exact word "baba" for Johnstones defence,he did make reference to it not been good enough.

| Vastman, where the hell have you been ? You finally paid your internet bill ?
I exaggerated baba I'll take that.. but Chris Chester said on radio Leeds after the game (well played on a good and important win) that Tom Johnstone had been dropped and he'd been judged on the tries he's conceded not so much scored but he will come back in contention against Salford. I rate TJ and firmly believe he will get international honours very soon, but his defence needs to improve in my opinion ( and your coaches it seems).
Plus if Chris Chester had told me his team beforehand I certainly wouldn't trust him

| Quote ="Willzay"3 things suprised me today
1 - The cursed second half blip which has cost us the past 5 games was again looking to maybe cost us another two points, if it weren't for the steely defence. In particular Reece Lyne.
2. We managed to actually recover from a Scott Grix cock up.
3. The graciousness of Saints fans I met at BV today.'"
No 3 really surprises me. In 2005 Saints were expected to sweep the board and when we came up against them in the CC semi final we weren't given a hope in hell's chance of reaching the final. That day we played the best 80 minutes of rugby I have ever seen a side in B&W play, and we blew a fabulous Saints side apart. On the way back to the cars and coaches, the Saints fans lined the streets and applauded the Hull fans, shaking our hands, hugging us and wishing us all the very best for the final. It was a sight that really brought a lump to our throats and whilst we always seems to get along with Saints fans anyway, that total act of graciousness really cemented the friendship between the 2 clubs long before Precky did.

Yes I remember that well, we got totally thrashed by a very convincing Hull side. Quite a few saints fans formed two lines for the Hull fans to walk through, some Hull fans most have first thoughts of trouble but that soon dissapeared as the Hull fans were clapped to there coaches and cars.
There has been a lot of mutual respect between the two clubs for a very long time now.

| Fair few saints fans were applauding cas fans after the semi last year, from their coaches on Wheldon road, very gracious considering they had the game all but won and outscored us 5 tries to 3, decent calibre of fans.

Agreed, Hampshire has been doing pretty well in the halves so much so more I could see him becoming more prominent in that role as Finn winds down. Johnstone tweaked his knee against Leeds so I thought he had been rested, he didn't really have a bad game against Leeds, maybe just the Watkins try he could've dealt with better.

| Journalista has its agenda (selling paper with made up shock horror stories in it)
Cas fans have their agenda (5h1t stirring)
PP hasn't been on his game, TJ isn't up to speed through injury and Rocky is playing ok but its horses for courses, non of them are poor enough to make a credible story or cheer Cas fans up, but you already know that.
Only the players and coaching staff know why they didn't get a game this week.

You daft dopey sod. It was on the radio.
Plus I want wakefield to do well. I wanted wakefield to win all their games they lost (apart from Cas obviously). I only made reference to TJ , no clue about Hampshire, but finn is your first choice 7 so it speaks for itself why he was brought back.
Winning 7/9 will keep me relatively cheered.

I'm almost sure he was the top prop for making most metres and runner up prop for the most tackles in Sundays game. So I don't think he would have gone un noticed, maybe the shock of the well deserved win clouded Lukes existence.

136 metres and yet again the best prop on the pitch. 11 games in and in 9 of those he’s made over 100 metres which is phenomenal for a 22 year old. Also made the most metres out of every forward in SL. Massively underrated player and right now the best prop in the league, it’s a shame he doesn’t get the credit he deserves and if he carries on playing like this, he should be in the England squad.

I think its probably Willzay's mindset that because Luke Thompson was on the losing side then in his opinion Luke was invisible.

No there is only one daft dopey sod on here and that’s you, putting 2 + 2 and getting 3. You and the journo are picking what you want from a non entity of a report from a nonentity of a site. Funny how when it suits its gospel.
I can’t comment on PP as I don’t know but strangely he’s been picked for Friday, must have got over it quickly whatever it was.
Tom I do know about, he’s not performing as well as hoped due to injury FACT from a horses mouth so to speak. CC has no special issues with his defence and nor do I, his error rate is no higher than any other SL winger despite the myth sad little sods like you are intent on creating.
I love the fact that you think you’re an expert because you listen to the radio and read total.rl.

You are crackers. Possibly need help actually. (Which isn't a bad thing but I would recommend asap)
Who is 'the journo'? I haven't read Total rl. I was listening to RL with JD on bbc radio leeds on Sunday on the way home from the Cas game. Chris Chester was asked why TJ wasn't playing. Chester specifically said he had been judged on the tries he'd conceded down his side rather than the tries he'd scored. It's probably online somewhere.
I rate the guy as a player but like it or not (which you clearly dont) your star winger was dropped on Sunday and it was a great decision from Chester as you won without him and Bill Tupou had a stormer on the wing instead.
I'm stunned I'm personally responsible for causing 'the myth' that TJ makes lots of errors

You’re either joking or quite simply, thick. He was the best prop on the pitch and a fair bit better than any of Wakeys props. As I’ve said before, right now he’s the best prop in the league by a mile and he’d walk into every side. I’m not quite sure what you were expecting?

| Well said Towns88, I also heard the interview with Chris Chester on Radio Leeds. If it comes from the coach's mouth then we can't say there is any agenda by journalists.
Shall we set up a fund to buy Vastman a DAB radio for his birthday?
