Great timing this fixture, 100 miles down the road is the 24 hour le mans race, 300,000 spectators and will fill the papers all weekend. The french really do make the RFL look good in comparison.

The Paris metro system goes all the way to the airport (whichever one you fly in on) and the map is straight forward enough, if you've ever used the london system you'll be fine.
They do weekend passes for the metro system, split into zones. The airport is further out so it may be cheaper to buy two single to the airport and then a zone card for the part where you're staying, but it's quite cheap so I personally wouldn't bother and would get a zone ticket so as to be able to go anywhere in Paris outside of the match.
