On basis on Warrington and Leeds departures, i'd drop them both down a place.

SL in 2018 will be the same teams as 2017 barring an almighty collapse in finances etc from an SL team. For 2017 I can't see past Wigan for champions and either Hull, Warrington, Saints & Leeds for the cup.

Add Cas to that, and you're not for off the top 6 anyway. That's not difficult to predict really,is it?

Wakefield sign Huby from Hudds. I'm not surprised many are picking Wakey to finish bottom as it seems to ne the default setting for the lazy or moronic on here. However Wakefieds pack is shaping up to be one of the biggest and aggressive in SL espeicially if Allgood does sign as constant rumours suggest. Added to that probably one of the best signing from he NRL in Scrum Half Sam Williams has gone virtually unnoticed which tbh honest I'm fine with - should have a field day behind that pack.

Segeyaro (if there is no replacement) is the difference between Leeds challenging for the 4 and not.

Agree with this. I think Leeds will probably be 5th or 6th. Hopefully them being back up that end is enough to mean there is some kind of battle for the top four late in the season.

Segeyero made a difference in the final third of the season and the M8s but he wants out, if he goes it's as you were with the Leeds squad except certain pivotal players are a year closer to retirement.

It's not literally all down to one player why they improved at the end of the season though is it? It's hardly an outrageous statement to say Leeds will go from 9th to 6th based on them being a lot better at the back end of last season. Last season they finished 5 points behind 6th after 23 rounds, despite the fact they were complete garbage for half the season. They won't be anywhere near as good as 2015 but they won't be anywhere near as bad as they were first half of 2016 either.

Don't shoot the messenger - but I heard a rumour that there was some sort of flooding problem with their training ground in 2016 and that resulted in them finishing in the bottom 4 because there was nowhere to train.

Leeds season will depend on how they start. A good one and they will be fine but a poor start and heads will fall as this group of players may be talented but lack the resilience of previous Leeds squads.
