Good news for the NRL if he comes back. Hopefully he's grown up a bit since he last played RL.

I am glad he is coming back to rugby league but its a huge risk for the roosters. A 12 month deal is a gamble for sure. How will he bond with his teammates when they know he could walk after a year. Wouldn't the roosters had been better of throwing a ton of cash @ cooper cronk before he signed an extension @ the storm.

Really hope SBW does stay in league for a long time. Excited to see him playing in the world cup in 2013.

I just watched his "press conference" regarding his future. He was non committal on the NR team (never expected anything else) but he is claiming that coming back is something he "has to do" rather than what he's choosing to do, brought about by a handshake agreement he had a couple of years ago.

Oh yeah because SBW is someone who stands by his promises.

He is one of the worlds best centres in either code so would be daft not to get him back if only for a couple of years.

The best RU sides in the world according to the IRB are NZ, 'stralia, South Africa, France and England....SBW has not "performed" whilst playing against the teams ranked 2-5......he is a one trick pony who cost his S15 team a win at the weekend....his defence is suspect and he has no tactical kicking game to speak of.....when it came to the RWC Final, the "show pony" was left in the stable....he is a liability and this years championship would have shown it.

RU legends, like RL legends are the guys who do it on any pitch, for any club/country, against anyone every week over a lengthy period of time.....SBW doesn't stay anywhere long enough for that to happen.

Slanted as usual but you're not far off. I think the backlash will be far more than Williams and his vile management ever expected. I personally have no respect for him or the people he listens to and it sickens me how people constantly bend over for him.

Not often I wouldn't mind seeing career ending injuries on a player but for $BW I can make an exception. The guys a merkin of the highest order.
