I really like that Widnes kit. Plus the sponsor looks good on the shirt, and is a great campaign to boot.

Salford shirt on its own looks ok but the full kit looks like they've had to borrow the shorts and socks from the home kit to play in because of a colour clash.

Really ? strange that as the home shorts and socks are errr red.

Still if there was nothing to make up there wouldn't be much to whine about.

I know they aren't actually from the home kit just pointing out they look like they've come from a different kit and it looks like a bit of a cut and shut effort where a teams had to mix their home & away kits.

Just giving an honest opinion on a kit, hardly whinging, you need not to be so precious just because someone doesn't think your new kit is amazing.

Clearly did give a stuff given your over reaction and sensitivity in your previous post. And teams do have different colour shorts and socks but they usually still go with the shirt.

I like the contrast. I think if it was all blue it would be a bit much. The Blue and Black combo works imo.

Featherstone revealing their away kit on the front of the League Express on Monday. Is there anything behind this like a ‘big name’ signing or something more mundane like the paper is their kit sponsor?

I agree to a certain extent, but think incorporating the blue into the shorts/socks with a trim would've tied the whole kit together rather than, like Printer said, it looking like 2 separate kits.

that is a nice shirt, it looks a bit like salford Rochdale and swinton combined they should all merge together and call themselves, lets see something like Manchester united. or Manchester rangers

It is though. Both Salfords kits are smart. In an age where clubs keep trying to go back wards and be "traditional", ending up with a monstrosity of a kit (see Wakefield), Salford are breaking the mould and trying to move forward

The Wakey home is great, ruined a bit by that collection of sponsor logos, but still...

Most clubs have a principal sponsor, 3 small sponsors spaces, kit manufacturer, and club crest on the front of the shirt (plus others on sleeves/back/shorts/socks), it's not just a Trinity thing.

I don't think he was getting at Wakefield in that regard because as you say most teams have the same numbers of sponsors. But the sponsors on some shirts are integrated better than others. Hudds home kit has done a good job with those and Saints with the CashConverters logo but appreciate it's sometimes tougher depending what sponsors you have which clubs obviously will sign with based on the quality of the deal and not what their logo will look like on their shirt.
