Didn't really mind either way which this went as have a lot of time for London and obviously Danny Ward is a good fella whilst Toronto are clearly an important RL project.
However seeing Paul Rowley beaten once again makes me smile. He's talking about "going again" - I imagine it won't be with him.

If McDermott fancies a project then this might be one for him.

It could be the kick up the backside David Hughes needs and really push rugby league on in our country’s capital.

Rowley is a poor coach and Toronto have served up some total dross rugby all season, bar one game last week, and the set-up there needs a proper looking at. They need a proper coach, they need to have a year to really think about what they’re going to do about home fixtures when it’s unplayable there, they need to get some local players in the set-up...

They aren’t going to dissolve just because they’ve lost today. They really REALLY weren’t good enough and if they’d managed to fluke a win today they could have just kept Rowley and served up a year of total dross in SL before being relegated back down again.

Losing today could be the best thing that’ll ever happen to that club!

The Thugpack players arn't daft a team of championship players that would all be off loaded back to Batley etc if they went up or big bucks next year and the high life in Toronto it was a tough choice.
