For those of you that don't already know, a Public Inquiry commences tomorrow at 10am, Wakefield Town Hall, into the proposed Newmarket Colliery Development next to J30 of the M62, Stanley, Wakefield.

The Inquiry will sit Tuesday to Friday and is scheduled to last from 6th December till 21st December. The planning inspector has a guide time of three months to submit his report to the Secretary of State who will then hopefully announce a positive outcome, and Wakefield's new stadium build can commence and be finished in plenty of time for opening at the start of the 2014 SL season, if not sooner.

The planning inspector has just stated that there are 2848 letters of support and only 184 against.

Also he will visit Belle Vue, The Halliwel Jones and LSV stadiums to gain an accurate view of the City of Wakefields need of a new stadium.

Richard Wright the Cas chief exec has written a letter for the group objecting to Wakefields stadium at their request. Pretty low.

No prizes for guessing that it was Richard Wright of Castleford RLFC, FFS that's dispicable and don't bother trying to defend it!

That's pretty low, no in fact that's just pure scum, you'd think rugby people would help out rugby people, this man is no real fan of rugby.

The Inspectorate will put great stock in the testimonies of Warrington Wolves and Leigh Centurions regarding the positive impact of moving to new stadia, thank you to those clubs for their willingness to support another RL club.

They will also take seriously the letter of objection from Castleford RL Clubs Chairman Richard Wright!

I think RL fans need to be asking why Richard Wright has sought to derail the progress of a fellow RL club in it's attempts to build a new stadium!

by objecting, he's not just objecting against the progress of another RL Club but the progression of super league as a whole if everyone is to have state of the art stadia!

As a pure guess with both Castleford and Wakefield under the same council planning authority. Planning could be hard if they decide the area only needs one stadium. The first one past the post and builds a stadium will make it very hard for the other IMO.

Warrington's move (to a new stadium they owned) was certainly a big success, helped by all the money put into the club to buy better players. However Leigh's experience was not all positive - will the drawbacks be part of the testimony? However, the Wakefield move has more in common with Warrignton than Leigh and they also have money behind them.

As it happens both stadiums have received unanimous backing from WMDC, in Cas’ case full planning has been approved and in Trinity’s the outline stage was minded to approve.

Managed to make his club a pariah club in one move, he must be so proud.

We all accept he has a right to fight his corner but attempting to scupper NM is an act of betrayal to the game as a whole. I also cannot see where he will benefit. The collapse of NM would not immediately or even ever benefit GH. Even if Trinity accepted a ground share we would not bring any extra funding to GH and it's the lack of funding that is stopping it happening.

The man is filth and it unfortunately reflects on the club he represents. Cas fans get rid of this fool.

Richard Wright seems to be under the false impression that if Trinity's new stadium is halted the developer will build elsewhere and still provide funding for a stadium. If Newmarket can't happen then he seems to think that York Courts money would follow Wakefield Trinity to Glasshoughton and his funding problems for Cas would be solved.

The man is deluded, desperate and dispicable.

He should be forced to answer some serious questions from the RFL and Castleford supporters as to the motives for his actions.
