which were allowed for one season only, players were under contract, you just can't simply rip them up and kick them out!

we still had the likes of horne, king, and cooke coming through at the time

yea coming through not actually first team regulars was they but then again its hull fc so we expect you to get away with most things

just like we have some great young talent coming through, but the 15-17 year olds we have been able to attract as a SL club over the last 3 years will still take a good 4-5 years to become 1st team regulars. Now if we had been in SL for 14 years and were still relying on over the hill or never was overseas players then that would be beyond a joke!

think you will find richard horne broke into the first team the season before the merger and was a regular in the first team the following season

featherstone was just an example of a lower league club that manages to produce players, like the cumbrian teams

unlike hull kr fans who come out with the same excuse year after year that they are playing catch up with all the rest of superleague! are you going to be saying that in 5-10 years too!!

4 seasons in SL is nothing when you are practically starting from scratch, Rovers have done very well since their entry into SL and are lucky that they have an ambitious board. There are some very good youngsters at Rovers. When you think about it not many FC lads have fulfilled their potential at FC have they?

Moving beyond the predictable Hull & Rovers BS, while journeyman Australian & Kiwis are coming off the quota & blocking the path of young players, we'll never challenge the Aussies.
The quota should be four, with no exemptions (as far as contract law will allow).
England would get trounced by NSW at the moment, so we have some way to go.

We have ex players in superleague so how have we not created any players just because they don't play for us any more doesn't mean they haven't been created by hull kr
