But he still did knee the player in the head. Players don't try and come up with high shots but they're still a penalty when it happens.

I would agree, its the myth that if you play in NRL your international class.

Watch him in defence, he's jumped in and across a number of times when Johnson has the ball, they have spotted it and have run it down his channel on the last a couple of times because of it.

True but not every high shot is a yellow card. There is no way the player should of been binned for that.

If it doesn't improve quick then I'd mix things up and swap Tomkins and Lomax around and see how that goes. Might not do anything but at least it's trying something and can't really be (much) worse.

Get Clark on for a start, might create some momentum to play off.

I like Hodgson but i just don't think he suits england style of play, clark playing off the back of quick plays would be more effective imo
