There are other discrepancies with the irb methodology as well. The use of the phrase potential reach to mean actual or live reach and stating that the 2007 went live into 238 Countries being the most obvious.
I am surprised that a person involved with marketing doesn’t know how potential reach is guestimated. Would you/ do you put any faith in the culmulative figures? Should they include re-runs, repeats and, so Im told, snippets shown on the TV news ?.

The ruwc is getting good numbers and yet the irb feel the need to lie, so badly. Maybe you could ask your clients to find out why.

Thanks for that. It does go some way to removing the smoke and mirrors used, not just by the IRB, but many other sports organisations and the TV networks that show them.......but obviously not far enough to stop the global brands like VISA throwing money at the game of Union.
