All players are ageing, that is definitely a fact. I would prefer to bring a 19 year old full international, but at 29 is he really too old how to learn how be a prop forward in the quicker game.
Eastmond left to have his ego stroked in a code that has an international game with a wider appeal, and more money for an easier run. We can certainly aim to sort out two of those problems for our game, and Andy Powell may be seen as a lesser footballer going the other way to Eastmond, but I certainly wouldn't mind having a wrecking ball of a forward on the books at the Twickenham Stoop and Iestyn Harris wouldn't mind having a Welsh born player to help build a competitive team for the Four Nations, even if he might not want him in Wrexham right now. |

The pub, if I'm very much mistaken, was a local haunt of a certain Barry McKenzie (Phipps in his current guise) when he was doing the dishes at that particular Walkabout.
One of the people who attacked Powell for allegedly singing Cardiff City songs was a right roid head and larger than Powell. Not to mention the others that helped whilst hitting him with chairs etc.
I've been in that particular Walkabout when watching Cardiff City play at QPR and funnily enough you don't see the same people that are so intent on wrapping a chair around somebody or putting a boot in when the club is full and the odds could even up a little.
Back on subject if Powell wants to come then give him a go but certainly don't be held to ransom and if the wages border on that of a top quality prop already in league then get the experienced prop on board. |

Funnily enough, I am just about to move to Shepherds Bush, but of course I will continue to follow one my life rules... never go to a Walkabout... so I should be OK |

He should have just been in a mood for 3 years and not try when he decided to play again.
Mr. Powell is welcome to come try our sport again, I'm sure his mate Gareth Thomas will be able to sell it to him. |
