had him in my nrl fantasy team in 2018 - goal kicking second row. did a good job for the bulldogs. this season however he never really got a look in. for some reason they didn.t start with him for about 6 or 7 rounds, and he's not really been a permanant fixture - all this in a struggling team. think he'll do well over here though

Unlike others in the past who only seem to bring in players midseason with no or smaller wage departures at least Leeds are getting rid of substantial wages to bring new players in.

Could well be as I haven't a clue, but remember when he had a very successful loan spell at Leeds and then went back to shudds, he was out of contract there and then chose KR instead of Leeds assuming they wanted him, at a guess he made the same decision as Nick Scruton did and went there for the money, that being the case I'm not convinced that's the case.

That’s several seasons ago now, he’s 32 now with recent illness and injury issues and was due to be leaving HKR at the end of the season anyway....doubt he’s in a position to command the previous money he was on earlier in his career.

They could be, who knows. That’s just guesswork though. We could do the same to point out that neither Crosby or Ablett have played a game this year, so with only 9 games left and especially Crosby looking unlikely to feature at all then maybe we’ve got salary cap dispensation like Cas and Wire got with Gale and Brown to open up some extra funds.

Looking at the ins vs the outs I cant see much difference, I could imagine it will equal itself out this year, if there is an issue it'll be back loaded for next year.

Leeds have never been done for a salary cap breach, unlike a lot of others...But impeccable past performance goes out the window with the typical rival fan looking for somthing to find fault with. None of us know the exact contract details but to anyone with a clear head and a brain cell, the departures and incomings appear similar enough to balance out, as Barham rightly states. Certainly seems in line enough to give a club with a previous clean slate, the benefit of any doubt before insinuating theyr cheating.
