| There is nothing in the game that is more exciting than having 500 players named in extended rep squads months out from the actual reps games.
Honestly, I wish they did it every day instead of just every second day.

who would have thought the kiwis would beat the roo's in the WC? they have a chance, and if they do the right things as a team then they can win.

Yeah,im with you Fredie,2-1 to Blues, got nothing to base that on really, just hoping NSW will be hungrier to turn it around and maybe a bit of complacency from the canetoads?

mentions cronk as an option for the bench
its between prince, hunt and cronk for a bench spot.
id go hunt myself. i like the idea of 3 halves, its worked well in the nrl.
bring on hunt as nsw tire.

The Kiwis were much closer in quality to the Aussies - especially in the forwards - than NSW are to Queensland.
The only weak link for Queensland is the coach not be a fulltime club coach

| on paper nsw dont have a hope in hell.
on paper queensland kill nsw.
the funny thing is 65% of all NRL players come from nsw so clearly queensland produces in quality not quantity.
the depth of the queensland backs is unbelievable.
they can leave out scott prince and cooper cronk. nsw would kill for either.
looking back over 100 years of Queensland RL teams, the current team is probably the best theyve ever had.
its a very special side.

| if nsw win its up there with the 1995 result.
NSW need a miracle.
nsw should just blood the youngsters and look to the future
last year they had the chance to give farah, carney and campese a go and they didnt.
it looks like campese will get the 6 jumper so thats a good thing
i hope michael jennings gets a go at centre and jamie lyon the other centre.
nsw really needed brett stewart. his loss killed it for me.

Buderus was clearly in better form. Carney, maybe, but he was a huge question mark, never had the confidence to be real dominant. Campese would've been dropped to Souths Logan if the Raiders had a decent replacement this time last year.

It's not surprising that someone who doesn't know the meaning of loyalty would choose Lyon to be in the team. No thanks, he is blacklisted forever.

For one, I won't be missing his p*ss-weak kick returns, putting us on the backfoot from the get-go.

| over the past 5/6 years of me watching state of origin (am only young not like you lot who have been watching rugby for donkeys years ) i dont understand how queensland havent won every origin game. I mean just looking at the maroons 3/4 line which is unbelievably strong, quick and agile, then the forwards of civoniceva and price and even then thats just mentioning a few. I mean NSW have some decent players but compared to Queensland......i just dont get it! correct me if im wrong but i think queensland completely outskill, outpace and tbh out-play NSW in every aspect of the game!

6 Years ago would make it 2003.
NSW had some class acts then. Mostly notably, Johns and Gasnier. As well as Cooper, Buderus and Luke Bailey.
Perhaps that has something to do with it.

yeah good point
before queensland won 3 in a row nsw were dominant and people were saying origin was dieing out
this is a special queensland side, probably the best side theyve ever produced since the game of RL was played in queensland
just enjoy a very special RL side, NSW have a lot of good kids coming through.

| The tide will eventually turn, like it always has.
The year QLD don't turn up with Civo and Price in their front row is the year NSW win. It could happen before that, but we will be riding on complacency of QLD, which is quite conceivable in itself.
