I watched the KR game the other night and thought Jai and Kelepi were stand out for them.

In a couple more years I think Jai will be back to the NRL as a very competent Prop.

Albeit, he was in town on Saturday at the Rhubarb festival so maybe he prefers our lovely city over the gold coast.

I thought Tanginoa looked like he was getting back to near his best, running wide and causing havoc, they just need to get him on the ball more. I thought Jai put some good work on the ball and made his tackles, I don't know about getting back to the NRL. He tends to get through his work without being too eye-catching in most games, imo not sure if he's got the size and impact that they tend to go for in the NRL. Who knows what the future holds though?

I love watching him play and how he plays the game but under the proposed rule changes and the sanitisation of the game he will hardly play.

Lets hope its HKR because that may result in a couple of centre players unrest.

Nope, this would be a bad signing.
On his day he can be a world beater but he’s a penalty machine and at 36 the pace wouldn’t be there.
It goes totally against our recruitment strategy of young and quick players.
His wages would be sky high too.

Hargreaves still makes a massive contribution to the Chooks performances and they are not as formidable without him in the team, he's aggressive and strong and would (at his best) be a quality addition to any super league team. the question would be... is he hungry enough to be at his best at 36?

I’d rather us build for the next 2-5 years. We have a core set of forwards who are only a couple of years from their prime and could certainly only improve if the club keeps investing in them.

If we were to go up for 2025 I would say only a hand full of players would need to be added to what we have of a good quality. Perhaps 2 x marquee and 2/3 quality additions.

Johnstone and Mckmeekin have been mooted but those are two signings that are high quality no doubt. If that’s the calibre of player we are looking to bring in to add to what we have that’s positive.

We have a couple of quality young lads in Pratt, Lawford, Smith and even the fullback Booth looked promising last week. Foundations have truly being built.

Absolutely , won’t get much game time in over here ,plenty of sightseeing though I suspect .Take someone’s head off , then a 6/8 tour of Europe will go down a treat I bet , whilst sat on the sidelines

I think I'll wait till at least after the Bradford game before I believe the powerhouse tag.

Having seen a couple of Bradford games this year, I think at best they are 4th in the league but not seen anything of Toulouse yet so could be 3rd, but Toulouse & Fev would be a better gauge, throw in to that York and Sheffield and outsiders Doncaster, They could finish out of the playoffs.
