SBW was closed down on Sunday morning....the welsh used a very very flat line of defence that rushed the centres.......they made 1 error v the AB's and SBW managed to off-load which led to a try....but other than that...he looked lost. He hits the rucks with no power, his attmpt to grubber kick was laughable and he was subbed.........I suspect he may make the squad for the RWC next year, but I doubt he will be near the starting team for any important games.....

As for back on thread, SBW is an expensive commodity for NZRU....he was always going to get a chance. As for the starting 15 in the RUWC (against meaningfull opposition)...no chance. Smith/Nonu is the pairing that has proved it works against quality teams....he will be a bench warmer. One handed off-loads are all he has..........and as I said, he is a one trick pony.....he will have to work really hard in S15 and I suspect he will find it tough.

As for Brian O'Driscoll......not only did everyone in the RL pub (Petone Sports bar...Jerseys from all NRL teams on the walls, touring side Memorabilia everywhere...not a Union shirt in sight)...I drink in knew who he was, after about 2hrs debate, the general feeling was that he would have made a great League 6/7.
