not sure if it's been mentioned but ref richard silverwood blew up just twice the entire game..with the 1st penalty not given till 60mins...which prompted rabbs & gus to comment that "12,000 mile is along way to come to blow ya whistle once"....and said that they "forgot he was out there"....which has to be the ultimate comment any ref in any sport can get....

Agree also. Refs in Tests and Origins should just be mannequines that can move out of the way of the players. Stay the hell out of the game, you should only be there because the rules above your power say you have to be.

Getting capacity in any stadium for events like this is rare, when you have to take into account memberships and corporate space. The only time Suncorp fills even when 'sold out' is for origin games.

The fact that tickets that were usually reserved for corporates were sold at the very last minute to the general public shows why this occurs.

44k for two games of league on the coast over two days isnt bad
