I think Rovers, Hull, Wigan, Wire, Leeds and Saints will take their usual healthy amount and Wakey support surprised a few last year.

As long as a good atmosphere is created i'm not bothered.
Sunday will be better attended though (even if it's just cos there is more games).

Wire didn't have a derby game last year, or technically the year before either.

AS far as i've heard we've shifted a 1k tickets, i think thats for both days, we for both cardiff dates there were a lot of day trippers who went down for just the days we were playing.

I'm going but not looking forward to it as much as when they did the derbies, even though the Wire nev er really had one for the last couple of years. Not sure whether I'll go next year, but would definately go if it was all derbies. Think the clubs need to suck it up.

wigan complaining about playin Saints, well over the last few seasons Wire v Saints have been far more entertaining games, but then the league wouldn't make that change.

See, I had a big issue with the derbies. For a couple of reasons. As a Wire fan, we didn;t even have a proper derby, yet we still travelled in numbers.
Secondly, the 2nd MM was actually quite boring, in that it was a carbon copy of the 1st one. I probably wouldn't have minded a derby element this year, as at least the move to Murrayfield would have made it different, but I wouldn't have gone back to Cardiff this year to watch those derbies again.

If the league were going to fix a draw, personally I think they would have put Saints v Leeds together, and marketed it as a chance to see a Grand Final replay in Scotland. The Saints v Wigan games have been probably the two worst games of this Magic Weekend for the last two years.

I'm doing a trip and I know that no one on the trip have yet bought tickets and decided instead to pay on the day.

When I ordered my tickets from Bradford, they said they'd had quite a lot of demand so we'll see.

I know loads of people that are going to this one that haven't gone to the last two. IMO between 33000 - 38000 on both days

They've obviously heard how good Cheggers was and don't want to miss out on him for a second year.

i stand corrected. it's going be on at 3pm on a saturday afternoon. would imagine most viewers will be rl fans and therefore will be paying more attention to the game than the crowd.

Theres a couple of things i would like to see at the next one ( if theres a next one)

1 Include a NL fixture which is either previous years nl1 champs v Nl2 champs or a repeat of the last NL grand final.

2 Have the SL champs play the Challenge cup winners

3 Then have the rest of the sl teams pick who they want to play depending on there finishing position until all fixtures are full.
