| This Bradford thing has got me quite worried. I honestly think the end of Superleague is nigh.
So if [uyour [/uclub was found to be in the same situation as Bradford find themselves would you donate £100 to try and save them?

| I think the Bulls (although the short term future would be awful) should take the hit, they could come out of administration with a much brighter future than if it was staved off marginally.
Bulls fans may feel differently which is fair enough, as a Wakey fan it was the best thing for us all things considered.

| Nope.
Can't help but think if any club gets into that state then it would be better for all concerned to go into admin and get a fresh start.
Look at Wakey, they've come out of it stronger than they've been in decades and have one of the best owners in the league from it too.

The end of Super League is no more nigh than the end of football in Scotland is nigh because the directors of one club messed up.

| No, would I balls. They should spend appropriately based on their income. It's an issue I've had with Saints for years, running with such huge, unsustainable losses as we have was just silly. I'd much rather they admit the income doesn't cover the full cap spend and were honest about it than them spend more than they could afford.

They certainly look resurgent. Crowds up to unprecedented levels, stadium developments are happening whilst they also look to secure a move to a new ground. 7,000+ against Catalans is a very good improvement.

| i would, but then i can afford to lose £100, many others could not. I would donate it fully expecting it to be a 1/20 shot it might win the club some restbite

| It really depends on [iwho [/iis running the club - someone with its best interests at heart or his own. Absolutely if it's the former. If we're talking about the kind of people running St. Helens prior to McManus however - not a chance.

| I don't have faith in the people running the club, but I love the club too much to risk losing it fully.
I've pledged 500 pounds, which considering i'm a student means i've cancelled my holiday and i'll not be going out for a fair while, but even though I wasn't sure about it at first, when I think about it money will come and go, if I lose the club i'd be devastated and I'm not sure I could continue following super league as seeing Donaldson, Whitehead, Addy, Bateman etc develop at other clubs would be too much to handle.

I think you have hit the nail on the head. if the £1m does materialise at Bradford that would cover there short term cash-flow problem. But it means the same people who put them in this mess are still in charge. Would it be delaying the the inevitable?
It needs a clean sweep in the board room with a new management making business decisions and not being the RL version of Peter Ridsdale.

Like many others he's probably forgotten they existed by now.
On topic, it depends on the circumstances. I wouldnt want to save the wrong people. If I thought my money was going to go towards propping up a regime I thought needed replacing, probably not.

| I have put a lot more than that into my club when we were going bust, so yes, I would but I am fortunate to be able to afford it, some fans cannot but still love their club as much as the millionaire benefactors do.
I have sympathy with the ordinary Bradford fans, but less so with the mis-managers of the club, after all it will be twice in my living memory that Bradford have gone this way and had to be saved by fans dipping into their pockets.

| Been there and put more in. As said sadly the idiots running clubs seem immune from crtitiscm. How do you run up a 1mill debt when you must ahve a pretty decent idea what your income for the year ahead is?
Feel for Bradford fans, been in your place and it isn;t much fun!

| I admire anyone who donates to the cause....I can fully understand why you would. As mentioned on here previously, money comes and goes...but if the team you and your community unite behind collapses, then that is far more concerning than a £100 out of your pocket.
That said, if the Bulls fail to raise the £1million.....and the club does unfortunately collapse.....would you see them reimbursing the donated money? I'd be rather hacked if I donated £100+ and it effectively meant feck all.
Anyway, good luck Bradford....I know how you feel, as a London fan....we've been through some harrowing times in the last decade ourselves!

| I would, not because I think it would matter, but purely as insurance against guilt in the event that, rather than an Administration led phoenix from the ashes, the club disappeared without trace.
