Instead of going on about the tackle we should be asking why an England international winger chose to carry the ball in the wrong arm.

Good point. Still rather have Fox than Ade Gardner though.

Maybe because as the Dullers tell us, Fox isn't international quality......that is, of course, until a Hull player prevents him scoring.

This is no offence to KR but i'd like to see Fox in the NRL. See how good he is. I think with a bit of coaching and regular top quality Rugby he'd make a belting international.

Do you really think that going to Australia/the NRL actually makes English players better? Looking at the players who have done well over there, Morley, Ellis, Burgess and before them Schofield, Davis, Hanley etc... they were all quality players when they went and quality players when they returned (in fact, in Ellis and Morley, they seem to have lost a bit of their attacking game to be honest)

As for the players that went over without a great reputation e.g Tansey, they came back pretty much the same standard

This is not to say the NRL is not a great standard of rugby or a great test of a player but I honestly can't think of a player who has been coached into being a better player by playing in Australia

Never get bored of watching something great, no matter who it is. Briscoes tackle was superb, I wished he had cock't it up obviously, but you cannot ignore the fact it was a great piece of defending.

You can tell it was a poor game when a player successfully tackles another player (as its his job) and it becomes a major talking point.
