| 11 Weeks left and it looks like a team on 18 points might not be safe come the end of the regular season.....London are still favourites but are punching well above their weight, Leeds are truly awful, HKR are hot and cold, Huddersfield have no consistency, Wakefield are in a bad run of form (injuries...yes we know), Salford are an enigma, Wigan and Castleford are probably safe.....as are Hull FC, Wire and Saints with Catalan doing a pretty good ipersination of Wakey at the moment.......this could come down to the final weekend....but who do you think is going down?

| Wakefield.
Catalans, Saints, Wigan, Warrington twice all away. Thats a big fat zero points from 5 games and their confidence is already shot. I just cant see where they are going to pick points up from.

| Certainly a tough call who will and wont go down with a lot more factors coming into play then assuming bottom teams will lose to top 4 teams.
If Saints are home and hosed in 1st will they coast the last few games.
Saints, Hull and Wire are in the cup and that usually sees patchy league form around the games
Players are now signed for other clubs, i.e. Abdul is apparently a HKR player in 2020, how will that affect him either consciously or sub-consciously.
Leeds have Agar in charge
Reckon this could go right down to the last game, just hope we're not in it.

| WRT to Leeds they’ll be fine if they manage to bring in a HB with the cap space created by Watkins’ departure like rumoured. The defence has improved a lot in the last few weeks and we were fine getting into try scoring position vs Wigan....to the extent that we probably should’ve scored 5/6 tries but the HB’s were terrible, a quality (or even just decent HB and we probably win). I suspect Myler knows his days at Leeds are numbered with all the rumours of HB’s we’re after and it’s making him play even worst than previously (at least before he looked to be trying now he doesn’t look bothered)....likewise Ferres who sounds like he’ll be out the door end of the season. Walker and Ward are due back this week/next, hopefully they can stay fit until the end of the season.

| Whilst Leeds are utter rubbish and probably deserve relegation out of all the sides in contention, and if they went down they'd be taking their endless football and cricket chants with them, given their tough run-in I think Wakefield are serious contenders to go down.
In fact of all the sides down there, they are the one I'd most like to see get relegated and take their 10th rate ground with them.

Genuine question....
...... are Salford "probably safe" seeing as they're level on points with Wigan and Cas and have a vastly superior points difference?
London v HKR is a massive game. I think they should shake hands on a draw before the match just so we can see Leeds fans squirming when they're rooted to the foot of the table after Saints have spanked their a$$es...

| Too close to call tho in all honesty.
I personally think we (Salford) are far too good to go down and Watson has done a superb job with resources available. Our run in is favourable (played Saints twice already) and have a lot of winnable home matches (tho it's our home form that's ironically let us down this season!).
Wigan will be fine as will Cas and Hudds have improved massively since the start of the season (from what I've seen) so they'll stay up.
Surely Leeds will improve at some point but their halves are poor and the pack as weak as I've ever seen it. A hiding at Saints will set the alarm bells ringing big time.
Logic says that London will run out of steam but they've been superb this season and a win v KR will really put the cat amongst the pigeons. Wakey seriously need bodies back as with a fully fit squad they have far too much quality to go down. But as has been highlighted above, they've got a tough run of games and the next month could see them really struggle to pick up points.
KR have never fully convinced me this season (yes they've beaten us twice) but Smith may just do enough to keep them up. So if I had to put my life on it I'd say London but they obviously have a great team spirit and Ward may just pull the miracle off....

I'm flabbergasted by that comment!
Surely though, if they did go down wouldn't that mean you'd have to go to their 10th rate ground again, or are you planning for life in League One?

| I've done a little predictor mainly for fun as there's too many caveats to be anything like accurate. what might be crucial are games against any CC semi finalists and finalists around that time, as well as the usual form, injuries and unpredictibility factors. heres what i ended up with.
Hull kr
current points 12
1. Hull home – loss
2. Wigan away – loss
3. Leeds away – loss
4. Huddersfield home – win
5. Cas home – win
6. Wigan away – loss
7. Wakey home – win
8. Catalans away – loss
9. London home – win
10. Salford away – loss
final points 20
Leeds
current points 12
1. Catalans home – win
2. Cas away – loss
3. Hull kr home – win
4. Hull home – loss
5. Huddersfield away – loss
6. Catalans home – win
7. Saints home – loss
8. London away – loss
9. Salford home – win
10. Warrington home – loss
final points 20
London
current points 14
1. Cas away – loss
2. Warrington home – loss
3. Hull FC away – loss
4. Saints home – loss
5. Salford home – win
6. Cas away – win
7. Catalans away - loss
8. Leeds home – win
9. Hull kr away – loss
10. Wakey away – loss
final points 20

2. Salford away – loss
3. Catalans home – win
4. Hull kr away – loss
5. Leeds home – win
6. Salford away – loss
7. Cas away – loss
8. Hull fc away – loss
9. Saints away – loss

so if that all works out it will be a bit tight and will make for great drama in the last 2 or 3 rounds. of course it won't but its just a bit of fun. feel free to amend as you think it will go

Wakefield will more or less return to a full outfit in the next few weeks with 5 or 6 players returning - It would be extremely disappointing if we could not pick our form up to win more than 2 of our remaining games.
