8 plus Simon (French), there is Sammut too. Sadly Trinity haven't used the franchise/license period to give a promising batch of juniors significant opportunities to develop into SL players. Now the RFL have upped the non-fed allowance the club has taken the option of filling the squad with imported experience in an attempt to retain their SL status. I hope the next batch get more game time, but I doubt it.

Really like the look of Salford this year. I know there was a few hostilities between cas and Salford fans over chase / sneyd / marwan comments but I am looking forward to watching what they can do this year. Think they will be way better then last year.

Crosby will probably start until Flower is back with one of Clubb, Patrick or Sutton on the bench. I think Ryan Sutton will play a fair amount of games this year. He's only 19 but Wane rates him and he's started both our pre season games.

Let's not forget also that the squad has been rebuilt twice in the last 3 years and it's an unfortunate fact that there isn't enough non overseas tallent of the right level available so the overseas market is an inevitability.

I'd hope to see a steady reduction over the next 3 years.

I don't know much about the subs, but the starting 13 looks really useful, much stronger than last year on paper.

I agree with the hooker situation. When we come up against a team with a quality hooker I fear we'll struggle.

The pack, however, I have less worries about. We have a lot of young hungry forwards in the interchange, something we've lacked for many years. We should be able to maintain the pack better as the season goes on, whereas in the past once the injuries started our intensity dropped-off. We've certainly improved on the previous roster, but so has most teams, so we'll see where we are at the half-way stage.

A quality hooker would complete us, but I fear that wont happen until next season at the earliest.

For some reason i thought Morley had retired end of last season.

Best backline in Super League. Once Carney gels with the team it will cruise into the top four.

Escare is the only one of quality (if you completely overlook how awful he is in defence).
Willie Tonga is an unknown quantity over here, especially with injuries and even when fit he couldn't get a game with the Eels.
Duport? lol
Oldfield was alright in some games last year.
Pomeroy is very average.
