Not saying anything against Leeds but Hull are being shafted. Hull are their own worst enemy's but it must be frustrating.

If your on about the officials then all I can say is they (the officials ) were dire. How this ref gets SL games is beyond belief.

That was a terrible performance by the referee. I'm not usually one for ref-bashing but he was atrocious and even the touchie had to get in on the act with that push on a Hull player which he claimed was a Hull player pushing a Leeds player.

Leeds would probably have won even without so many terrible calls against Hull - but a few in the first half led directly to Leeds tries and blew Hull away. Roby (intentionally or not) made sure Hull were never in it.

The penalty against Manu was fecking pathetic. Bailey takes him out off the ball and gets the penalty for a fecking push?!??!!

Attention RFL: Rugby League is becoming too sanitised. The odd push, shove and even right hook is perfectly acceptable without sending every bugger off and banning them for whatever number pops into your head that week.

I liked Roby when he reffed the Championship but he and his touchies were awful tonight.

He reffed the Wigan v Bradford game last week and was absolutely garbage then as well. Not a chance that he is SL standard yet (if ever).

He was very poor

As has been said awful from the officials. To be honest I cringe no matter who is reffing our matches no matter who gets it, off the top of my head I would say Ganson hasnt been all bad this season and Thaler has seemed consistant (and I like how he gives the lip straight back to the players).



Feel for Hull fans though, especially those who travelled over.

Off topic, does anybody else think the band/rabble whatever they are at Leeds are just taking the p**s now though? It seemed worse than ever tonight, do none of the fans in the stands ever just turn around and have a word? "Stop it with that or Im going to put it - ". Or do they all like it?

That was a pretty boring match tonight.

Leeds were poor, and Hull were worse.

Hull wouldn't have scored if they were playing till midnight.

But they did score. You must pay attention!!

The first half was good and the conditions meant it was never going to be one for the backs but I thought both sides showed some very good defense at times.

The ref he was poor but at least he's willing to put his hand up and do the job in a time when we have a shortage of refs in general.

I think it's time refs weren't named before, duringand after the match, the constant whinging about them when they do a job very few are willing to do is just dull and is a cop out for a teams poor performance.

He doesn't just put his hand up, he's being paid. Although on tonight's performance he's taking his money under false pretences. We don't need to see the ref's name, we all know who they are.

Ref was terrible tonight, really, really bad, but we were our own worst enemies too, the tackling for both of their first 2 tries was pathetic. The ref made sure we were never getting in the game though, I think I saw on Twitter the penalty count was something like 15-4; were we really that much more indisciplined compared to them?

Seems a completely ridiculous response to the post quoted! Where did he say any if the things you're saying he said? He simply said Hull scored in response to you saying they wouldn't have scored had they carried on playing!

Leeds were also very poor. The difference seemed to be the ref at times. Nothing went Hull's way.

To be fair to Tim Roby the 2 worst calls (Crooks pass after 'elbow hit floor' and the Manu/Bailey pushing) both seemed to come from the touch judge. Just like a young player he is learning and will make mistakes unfortunately, still think he's not as bad as James Child who has reffed many more SL games and is woeful.
I know its not ideal to say because you would hope Ref's are ready right away when they enter SL but in the circumstances the guy needs time, if he hasn't improved in 12 months time then give the guy some stick.

The ref was pants but what would concern me more if I was a haddock face was how p poor the halves were. Failed to create anything with countless plays in oppos ten metres, last tackle kicking was atrocious, no ability to create space for themselves and get a decent kick away.

Leeds certainly got the benefit of some of the higher profile blunders, but his overall game management was really poor.

Short ten, slow rucks with no consistency in what constitutes a penalty and what doesn't and afailure to punish repeat offences with a warning.

15-4 penalty count in Leeds' favour I heard. Were Leeds that much more disciplined?
