He looked comfortable in the halves yesterday, has played at hooker in the reserves, is a natural 13 and they could probably throw him in the second row as well. It sounds like they're pretty excited by his long term prospects (which I think they will see as being a loose forward) but in the shorter term, he could turn himself in to that Joe Shorrocks type player we've not had since he left.

OT, but it’s really frustrating that the Sheff game isn’t being shown live. There are plenty of streaming options available, all capable of generating at least some revenue for either the RFL or individual clubs. It might not be a huge amount, but it’s better than nothing. Beyond that, I understand that clubs are at the mercy of the TV schedulers (don’t get me started on us playing our first game on a Thursday night), but when it isn’t being televised, why schedule this game for a Friday night at 19:30 in Sheffield? They couldn’t have made it any more difficult for people with 9–5 jobs to get there. Always feels like the fans are the last to be considered.
