| The podcast of RL Extra, from which that article is taken, is still available. I implore anyone who's not heard it to listen to it.
The 1st half is him talking about his additiction and how he has overcome it. For that, he deserves support and congratulations.
The 2nd half is him pitching for the Salford job. Edited highlights:-
- Referring to himself in the 3rd person. Ian 77 Redux is not a fan of people who do that
- Saying he wants to build Salford using youth players before putting the candles on the cake with "Cronk and Tomkins"
- Repeatedly says he wants 20 mins of Mr Koukash's time to convince him of his plans
- As set out above, stating that he is the fan's favourite. His basis for this is people telling him he's great on Twitter
- Saying that he has a text message from David Ferriol that confirms he will play for Salford if he is involed
- Advocating sacking everyone who currently works there
Oh, and when asked about Alan Hunte going for the job to he says "I've not comment on that" before saying seconds later "the pope has got more chance of that job".
Koukash might say silly things in the press but he has hired RL people to help him. No way will they give it to Goulding. Nor should they based on that intreview.

| 'are you a gamble Bobbie?'
'No.... If you put Tony Smith in or anyone it's a gamble'
So he answers no and then goes on to confirm that he, like everyone else, is a gamble. He isn't a gamble, he is beyond that in as far as he shouldn't even be in any sort of contention as even a dark horse.
Best coach this countries ever seen? This bloke is a moron.

| Much as I respect Bobbie, he is not the man to lead that club forward. He hardly brings a glowing reputation, or CV to the table, couple that with his obvious personal problems, I would look at someone a little more stable, with a certain level of experience to lead Salford forward.

| Salford CEO Farish states they have a shortlist drawn up of 4-5 candidates who've expressed a keen interest and are likely to appoint a new coach by latest mid April , Brian's Noble & Smith were named as was Alan 'Rafa' Hunte ,
Brian Noble
Brian Smith
Alan Hunte
most probably other 2 would be Brian McClennan & Tony Iro , not an outside chance in hell of Bobbie Making that Shortlist
