Yes, but the club have new owners and it seems that the Bulls will be remaining as an SL club and the player was contracted for a further year before he decided to not bother sticking with the club who taught him his trade.
IF the club's future was still up in the air or if the players has been in the same boat that the staff had been (ie not paid since June and working for what's best for the club) or if it'd be announced the club was to be demoted then this move COULD be justifiable and would be prudent, however it seems he'd rather break his contract and go for a bigger pay day elsewhere.
And given it was inducing a player to break a contract was what caused the whole Harris affair (the court case of which, Bradford LOST) I do hope that the player's new club has a good lawyer.
