[i"The Jaguars one is the most "League" classic that I've designed... and it has been the most difficult to do since I tried to use some jaguar (speaking about the animal) particular like nails, mouth, eyes and marks ... but anything worked as well as I would, so I switched to a more plain one and it seems that it worked well reading your replies.
The Spartans and the Gladiators ones are the most beautiful in my opinion. Not just because of their look but for their meaning:
- Catania is in fact in the ancient zone of Magna Grecia a Greek colony, Sicily is full of reminder of it: temples, theaters ... the "greek fret" remind it like the columns on the front are in perfect Dorico style
- The ancient Gladiators was wearing nothing then a leather stripe crossed on the chest joined by a ring... nothing to share with armours. The red V remind the League and the green X remind the original gladiators. Originally it was designed with a chain-mail texture on the black, but suddenly I realized it was an awful layout
The Magnifici one has the Florence towns colours (that is not purple...) the lateral ornaments would like to mean the medieval laces of dresses and it was full of Florence's flowers (that remains on the shoulders) but they were cut to leave space for sponsors (they may re appear for the purchasing)
The Rex one is so simple: the arrows are the scales of the dinosaurs stylized."[/i
