Quote ="JonM"You can get one-sided rivalries. In soccer, Leeds Utd fans tend to see Man Utd as their main rivals, but are pretty much off the radar for Man Utd fans - with 8 premier league clubs in Lancashire and none in Yorkshire, it's not surprising. Yorkshiremen tend to support other Yorkshire clubs if their own team is not involved, but someone from Liverpool would support pretty much any team in the world playing against Man City or Man Utd and expect to have the same treatment from Manchester fans when they play.'"
I can gurantee Leeds are more 'on the radar' than all of the Lancashire clubs but possibly one, to think that the Leeds/Man U rivalry is one way is very naive.
Also most of the Liverpool fans I know quite like Man City (your enemies enemy is your friend and all that).
