Quote ="Cronus"Anyway, he'd nearly knocked Paul Sironen's head off with a nasty elbow at Central Park earlier in the tour and done well at Wembley in the 1st Test (even though he injured Jonathan Davies while celebrating his try; Davies had to go off for the rest of the game!). The Aussies were then waiting for him at OT, apparently Ricky Stuart had told them 'if that McDermott starts anything, get stuck into him' (or something similar), so when Barrie did his customary forearm clothes-line on one of them, they all piled in and Barrie got sin-binned. He'd only been on the pitch about 45 seconds!'"
It's in Barrie's book about that game, he was asked to 'get amongst it' himself as it were, and didn't disappoint.
As for Harrison, I'm a big fan -they don't make many like him any more. Good coach aswell, completely out-smarted Millward Thursday night.
