Not enough
- 471 including 100+ from Haven
There were a few more locals in attendance but it's hard going getting people to realise/accept that the Panthers are note a "joke" side anymore.
On the field the team couldn't really do any more - 9 wins out of 9 (after the first two game in the Northern Rail were lost to Keighley (by 2pts) and Barrow away (8-34)). In that 9 game run we've scored 72 tries, and the team plays attractive running RL.
It is clear that things are being attempted off the field, but the public of the Fylde Coast still seem to be more interested in watching Wigan/Saints than the Panthers. You only have to look at our MB as a microcosm of that problem, as the enforced switch to Friday night this week means some of our "regulars" will be at Wigan v Harlequins whereas they would have been at the Woodlands if we'd have been able to play on Sunday.
The big worry is not going up as it's obvious that outgoings greatly exceed incomings. Our Chairman seems to think that we will be competitive and viable in the Championship. The former (with some additions) I have no doubt, but financially viable? Of that I have deep reservations.
Let's just say the "older heads" are just enjoying it whilst we can
