Quote ="Pepe"OK, let me show you what I mean. I’d just like to get one point out of the way first though. You were replying to this post from Starbug:
Note the area marked in bold
Starbug is clearly saying that the Championship is important and that the game as a whole needs to be strong to survive.
You replied:
Did you miss the point?
Starbug is clearly saying that ‘all parts are important’, so obviously somebody has stated such. '"
you seem to have ignored the fact that that was starbug argument against a point i clarified nobody had made
whats strange is you seem to understand perfectly well the conversation that went on yet pretended you didnt. Odd

Saying that one area of the same body is more important that another, when that body requires its entire constituent parts to remain healthy and at its peak in order to progress and survive, makes any attempt to single out one aspect of the same body as better than the other parts irrelevant. Therefore your point is meaningless.
'"
yet again, you seem to perfectly understand the meaning of the point being made. You have even written a lovely metaphor below to highlight the fact you understand it but then pretend you dont. As I say its strange

I have vital organs in my body which I require to stay alive. These can be regarded as being the most important areas of the body. But I would be far less healthy if I lost my arms, legs, and eyes. None of which I require to live, but they still make me a much healthier and stronger human being. We function better with all of our parts.'"
indeed, a good example. Where the lower leagues would be akin to arms or legs, SL the head and the amateur game the heart. You can lose an arm and live a long and happy life, you cant live a long and happy life if your head falls off or your heart explodes.
all constituent parts of the same body working towards the same goal, all contributing in different ways to the body working but some contributing more than others, and hence being more important than other parts of the same body. This isnt a meaningless statement. Its a fairly obvious one that needed an inappropriate amount of explanation but its clearly not meaningless

The RL amateurs, the lower leagues, and Super League are part of the same body. Each has a different role to play. Each is essential to its well being,
'"
indeed. This is correct. With some roles being more important than others.
Quote Being able to read and understand English is fine, but you also need to be able to understand simple concepts, of which this is a perfect example, too.'"
Dont start running before you can crawl. When you can read and understand English better maybe then we can start on concepts

The lower leagues also provide things which the amateur leagues do not, and by their very nature never can do. The lower leagues provide a valuable service to SL and RL in general that cannot be provided elsewhere. I have already outlined some of them in an earlier post. Other people have also pointed out more areas that make the Championships a vital part of the RL cog.'"
yes, there are areas where the championships contribute. Nobody has denied this. What has been said is the contribution the championships make to the game as a whole is less than that of SL and the Amateur game. Of the three cogs in the game, we would be least damaged by losing the lower leagues in comparison to the other two. They are the least important cog in the machine. Not worthless, just not worth as much
