I see what you're getting at. Perhaps two of the same offence during the same set of six could be punishable with a sin-binning.

Fredie for once in his entire RLfans life has raised something of a valid point.
However I don't think that would be the case unless the refs start blowing for near enough everything. You'd just have the same amount of penalties as now, just without all the kicking to touch.

Something just sprang to mind, people debating about tiring defences letting too many points through through not having time to set the line.
Most tries I reckon come off the back of a penalty at some point and a 30 yard punt so you'd probably need the tired defences to score the same amount of tries as now.
This could actually be one of the better RLfans debates of recent time, could the OP find some way of airing their opinions to the RFL? Could be something to consider properly

with 3 markers or unlimited markers

you would get more side too side ball movement .more passing , better skills . so on .

field position would be even more important . centre of the field . you would have more options .left or right. more open field
