Just short of 250K was announced on Radio Leeds not long ago. Thats if everybody actually pays up obviously.

I think we'll make the first total...its the next 500k that will need outside investment IMHO. I also hope that whoever buys the shirts and rings at the auction that have been so kindly donated either give them back or loan them to the club to display so the players can still go see them.

As far as I know the gate money for the Leeds game does not count towards the pledge, which is partly why the club launched the "virtual ticket", which does;

What [iwill [/ihelp by turning up in numbers is creating an amazing atmosphere for the potential investors....who I would hope will be being wined and dined in hospitality that night. Any investor who is waivering might be convinced by witnessing a classic derby and a full house like the 24,000 game in '99 (same result as well obviously

It should be a special occation whatever happens...one of them "I was there nights" I suspect.

£250k announced at end of car wash. Seems a variety of totals doing the rounds. Perhaps deliberately vague to prevent eye off the ball syndrome?

At 5pm ish sunday on radio Leeds Ryan Duckett said it was a little under £250k

Bradford Bulls today confirmed the total Pledge figure as £248,486.50 with a total of 1,832 people confirming their Pledge to Donate to save the Club.

In my honest opinion this is no where near enough!

According to the latest statement, if the club get £500,000 by Friday they have a month to six weeks to find an investor.

Notice their splitting the figure. The 248k is just money pledged. It doesn't include the money raised by other fundraising like car wash, sat open day etc. Might explain some of different figures that were being mentioned at total. Also mentions total of 500k to be reached by Friday is overall total including other fundraising, auction etc. Not just the total pledged by fans.

Now here's the bit I don't understand. No matter how much is pledged by Friday we won't have the money by Friday, it will still have to be collected. So if we pledge the amount by Friday when is the money ACTUALLY required

well pledge [age says immediately they announce pledge is successful. It also mentions the initial 500k is to enablt them to continue past mid april. So basically sounds like they expect to pay up by end of next week. Agree it could do with clarifying a bit.
