My desire has not changed from last week," Lamb tweeted. "To lead your great club.
"I am waiting for David to come back to me, hopefully by the end of this week.
"I have told him if the club needs support at the weekend with staff and personnel I'd bring some people up from London to help."
Get him in, can't get any worse. Good luck Mr Lamb, I don't see anyone else saying anything even remotely positive so you get my blinkered vote.

| I kind of get the feeling that Lamb is who the RFL wanted in charge of Bradford because they haven't seemed that enamoured with Moore's group from day 1

pretty much my thinking too. Think administrator threw RFL a curveball when he picked Moores bid ahead of Lambs.

| I was getting a similar vibe also, as the RFL dragged ratifying the club for ages.
Why would they want a business man from london with possible a huge list of southern contacts and within the RFU to buy the club, mmmmmm?
Thats why i am surprised they are so hostile toward Koukash, hes minted and the one of the only ways pro RFL can carry on.

| As he seems the RFL pick, and is the only game left in town, surely this could be moved forward before the game on Sunday?
He also talks about moving forward if we are relegated or not, so seems to say the right things at least, in for the long term. But we've had a lot of talk, we need positive actions now before the club dies.
If he buys it, runs it at a level we can all afford then whatever happens regarding relegation happens, Id rather support a team in a lower league beating Keighley and Fax, looking to get back up, rather than reminise about a dead club.

| I'm still wary what Lamb's motives are. I find it strange that someone who appears to be succesful is still interested despite us been deep in the brown stuff. Succesful business don't become that way by wasting money. I hope the bloke isn't a Michael Knighton only after the publicty only time will tell.

The only publicity with failed takeovers is bad publicity. Ask Glover, Whitcut, OK and now Moore, Watt and Calvert. Pull it off and it's a huge boost to cred. Otherwise, your name's mud.

| There's a lot of weird stuff going on, but one huge questionmark is this: on the one hand, we've been led to believe that in the new owners we had some pretty level-headed businessmen who insisted in dissecting and crunching the numbers and changing a failed business into one that lived within its means going forward - and had the financial expertise to do this; on the other hand we have the RFL basically saying that they were not convinced by these people at all, and were short of the two fundamental planks, a viable business plan end evidence of funding, and were asking for another half a million advance just to keep going.
I can't quite match the two positions up.

| Well, it was the RFL who passed them as 'fit and proper', in the first place. The longer this goes on the RFL give the impression of being more and more unreliable and unhinged.

| I note that in the various tit for tat statements yesterday the protagonists were RFL and Moore. Watt and Calvert did not put their names to the RFL bashing rant, neither were they named in the RFL statement or interviews.
The RFL did quite pointedly link Moore to Whitcut. I also note from the T&A story, specifically the comments from Blake Solly, that he has pretty clearly stated that the Special Measures decision relates to the BB2014 proposal.
Sometimes it is easier to see these things when you are not emotionally attached, but I get the clear impression that the RFL think a Moore led group will result in another OK style failure and want to avoid that.
It is tough love, I believe the RFL will be very supportive to the right rescue plan, but will not be supportive of the wrong one. Going back to my original point, it seems there is no dispute that the RFL told BB2014 likely sanctions on 7 Feb, that is some time ago now, yet last Friday there was contact between Calvert and Lamb - Calvert inviting Lamb to this weeks game. That is food for thought.

| It's amusing you feel they would know the difference.
The RFL can't even work out that OK Bulls only 'failed' due to their new punishment, brought out especially for us, of a fine of competition money. No club without a 'sugar daddy' could possibly survive that and put out a competitive team. Still, I can always go back to my 'emotional attachment' I guess.

| Ooh, a lamb/calvert/watt supergroup....
Interesting.
It's like X-factor, find the better businessmen in their groups, drop the others & force them together.
Who said the RFL didn't have their finger on the pulse of reality TV style Saturday night entertainment!

| I don't think that is the only reason OK Bulls failed, it certainly shortened the period taken to fail. I certainly am not saying thr RFL got everything right, they patently did not. It is common practice across many sports that there are sanctions for insolvency, those sanctions need to be balanced with assisting recovery. Not an easy balance and one that clearly is not yet right in RL (putting your woes to one side, London, Wakefield and Crusaders experiences demonstrate that).
The RFL are constrained by their rules, despite the flaws within them. Any insolvent club should face sanctions, but those sanctions should not leave them without hope. You will get no arguement from me that the RFL made errors at the time of the OK rescue. I do believe they are trying not to make the same mistake again.
Perhaps I am wrong, but I believe Moore was at least part of the problem for the RFL, whether that is fair or not (by the RFL) I do not know.

From various comments I've seen on social media I think other offer was a last ditch attempt by OK to buy club back.
