Maybe it is just me, but I NEVER take Bradford for granted. It is only relatively recently that we have started to come up with the wins. Even so, I still fear them.

Even with Orford out (a huge blow, and I hope he sees out the remaining 2 years of his contract), I still think that Bradford will want to stop sliding down the slippery slope - and will certainly aim to put a spanner in the works for the Wire at the same time. I have a feeling they will really up their game - and want revenge for the CCQF defeat.

So, I can see this going all the way. More so after our hard fought win against Hull KR, which was only won after we scored three tries with Newton being in the bin.

Discipline on the pitch will be key...

Has Langley retired? Every week we hear he's very close - he's even been named in the squad a few times.

Is he ruined or not? What's the problem in letting us know? I've torn my thigh muscle in the past and it needed an op (it's still not right), and I know its a funny injury as you feel you are ok but as soon as you do anything at full tilt it can go again - but Langley is assessed by a physio / doctor on a regular basis and should be back by now surely?

Just go for it! Southernwood in halves and Kearney at fullback. I'm be half expecting a mullering anyway.

The problem with Langley needs to be sorted out asap, every week we hear he's close to returning to full fitness and now this week he's not even in the 19. Very strange, but i've got a feeling he's going to have to need surgery because lets be honest, he's had a long time out of the team and it should have healed by now. The longer he is out i think the more likely surgery is needed.

The worrying thing is the club describe it as a "strain".

In most sports, you'd expect a strain to clear up within a week or two max. Sounds more like a tear to be out this long.

You would assume the club's doctors will know what they are doing. Or is that a dangerous assumption?

He did tear it at first, but when he started full training again (around the Wakey game I believe) he strained it aswell.

Sounds like Langley's had a more serious injury than was first realised.

Looking at the 17s put up would you really have Wardle marking Matt King? I the cup game McNamara stuck Menzies out there to shore things up and it worked in attack too.

That's a very good point tbf, but I fear that without Langley, Menzies or Lynch our pack will not do well at all vs Wire.

We're just struggling for numbers. But I think Menzies is our best centre and is also the only player capable of creating anything out wide if Kearney's in the middle.

We are light in the forwards. We need Koppy and Crossley to really step up.

I don't think they'll play Southernwood in this one, and I really can't see him starting.

I'm not too sure, our other options in the halves aren't excellent (Kearney, L'Estrange, Addy, Menzies)

We'll probably see Kearney play there aswell, but imo we really need him at FB.

I'd rather see Kearney at fullback with Sykes and L'Estrange as half backs. I don't see that L'Estrange is any worse at half back than Kearney and we need to use Kearney to his full potential.

Don't think it will happen though.
