Given we only have 2 wingers and one is a kid with less than a handful of first team games I'm less enthusiastic about Macani leaving. Hopefully this is an area we intend to strengthen.

Even if we didn't have Rickett & Ryan, I'd still have let Macani go. Total waste of a shirt. Be better off being a sprinter as then he'd be able to run in a straight line without papping himself every time someone moves towards him. Absolutely no rugby ability, he can just run. Be better off with Ross Peltier on the wing.

That said, I'd be amazed if we didn't sign another three quarter at some point. With the current squad, Gibson or Oakes could always move out to the wing if needed, but I'd rather have some more depth than we currently do.

Wasn't Lee Smith referred to as a Utility Full Back or something when he signed too? I think it's just the lad in charge of the website doesn't actually know the sport. You're right, the way you type it would just about work, or even the next line that calls him a Utility Forward. But I don't think it's a mistake, I just think the guy isn't a Rugby League person so doesn't understand the terms properly.
