Playing squad budget is twice that of Rams according to last nights forum. Rams rumoured to be spending about £300k so that equates to about £600k plus whatever extra by better than expected gate receipts.

I would expect us to be spending around same as or higher than 3/4 of the league.

Spot on... he may have made mistakes but he was one guy in it for all genuine reasons. He lost a shed of money, was unfairly dealt with (court papers found this to be true) and suffered a whole heap of racism from a section of the RL community which ought to hang its head in shame.

That's because a fair chunk of people playing for Fev over 2019 were paid by Leeds. Don't know how the regular loans (rather than DR) were worked out, but I'd be amazed if Fev were paying full wages for those others borrowed from SL teams too like Holmes & Reynolds.

I know a lot slate DR, but it can help teams with low budgets to be far more competitive than they otherwise would have been.

Someone at my amateur club said Batley were spending around £400k and Dewsbury was spending £100k less... however that's only what I've been told. You could be better informed than me.

2018 Fev player budget was significantly higher than £600k.

Diskin said in pre match interview at the first Batley game of the season last year that the Bulls were spending 3x what Batley were. I've always assumed Batley were about £200 - £250k and we were in the £600k range for last season. But I'm just going on Diskin's interview/mind games attempt....
