I think it is very important to stay above your rivals, for local bragging rights! No harm in enjoying the fact that we currently have the upper hand IMO.

Whilst it's the popular side, I don't think you can call it the home end. We have a large section of terracing which both the home and away fans have access to, and in alot of fixtures both enjoy.

On a serious note, is all the terracing now open? I know earier on it was half closed, was that just due to the icy conditions at that time?

As I have said elsewhere, my obsession is with my own side, and not what anyone else is doing. I honestly think that there are some on here that would rather finish bottom but beat Leeds twice than win the GF and lose to them twice. It is all kinda sad to me.

As for the Wakey board? Well, what comes around goes around. If they were not coming on here with there daft bragging then I would not go along and give it back to them on their own board in spades.

To my knowledge they're the only SL fans that do this in any number. I think it adds to the atmosphere and personally don't mind it at all. Takes me back to pre SL days when home and away fans huddled together for warmth on the "popular side"

I have seen some of the home fans get a little upset about us mixing along the side of the pitch but mostly had good banter with your lot. Still a ground I really like and enjoy going to(played there too).

The fact that our coach has done so well, that he has been awarded the highest accolade in British RL - Coach of the national side - really, really, REALLY grrrrrates with you, as it is in complete contradiction to your obsessive crapness theory. You never thought you would see any such thing. You were confident he'd be out of a job - any job - as soon as the rest of the world realised that you alone know what you're talking about where coaching RL is concerned.

In a word - "wrong". You were wrong. Deal with it.

I does not grate with me in the slightest as he is clearly doing what is best for him but there was simply no-one of any great calibre remotely interested in the job.

He was arguably the best of a bad bunch linked to the England job that highlights more the lack of interest in the position rather than the quality of the coach that got the job.

Still, he will be ok - at least in the Tri Nations you cannot finish lower than third.
