Don't think Mr Green has made any announcements about players, though when the takeover was announced, Franny definitely mentioned getting players in and [imaybe[/i even one before the Widnes match. Can't imagine he would have spoken out like that if he hadn't come to believe that was the case.

walker straight in for sidlow. foster in for wood. conroy in for diskin or addy moved to 2nd hooker and one of younger 2nd rowers getting a game. Unless there have been injuries in training this week dont think theres an issue putting a team out albeit with only 2 recognised props.

Just a thought but if I had a few shilling to spare on buying a couple of players, particularly if I was paying a transfer fee, then I would be keeping as quiet about it as I could and not announcing that the coach has lots of money to go to market with. As I am sure the value of everyone would increase when I came calling. I would like everyone to think I was a bit hard up as I might get a better price? As I say, just a thought.
