Always thought that FC didn't really rate Sammut, and I definitely noticed that teams targeted him when we were defending our line. Hopefully now we can do the same when playing Wakefield.

FC doesn't want players that won't put their body on the line, and Sammut seems to be the next casualty.

I remember a few weeks back Mr Moore said the club was in a better financial position and he was hoping to free up more cash for FC, given that we now have Carvell and Sammuts wage, we must be able to sign some quality before it's too late.

If we don't make any more (quality) signings for the 2014 season, we will be starting 2015 in SL2.

I don't think you can realistically, but equally you don't publicly state that no ones leaving only to see two of your potentially best players leave within days of issuing said statement.
Someone posted earlier that it's time the BoD came out and told the truth and it's the best post anyone has written in weeks connected to the Bradford club. When your backs are up against the wall you have to be completely honest with the fans; it's the only way they'll back you. I fear this release will really hamper you on a playing front and financially as people will be completely fed up. This may not have been the case had the BoD been open and honest from the outset.
