But if he's coaching on Wednesday I think us fans need a chant for POtter to show our appreciation and a chant for Noble for helping us out.

my point is simple although its been slightly de railed. I posted because I thought it was important, and FA attacked this to suggest it was untrue. not incorrect, but a lie, and as such I have defended that this wasnt the case.

You have obv heard similar to myself RE noble (before it was announced that CC would try remove Hood etc),and i think I may have posted it. I am happy to support noble, I like the guy alot, but I wont have someone tell me I am lying because they have read an article saying otherwise.

Monday may have been the first time that BN was asked to be an unpaid coach, but he may have been sounded out long before that but given no specific info in what capacity he may have been needed. ie. Guilfoyle being rather vague so he could carry out his agenda of a wholesale cull knowing he had a back-up option.......

you still dont have a 'quote' from BN saying that he was approached on Monday so I'm struggling to see what you dont understand?? I dont believe I am wrong. I believe that BN was asked whether he would take over for free on Thursday. I believe this because it is something he said, not an article I read. I am not saying he is lying as I havent, as of yet, seen where he states that he was only contacted on Monday.

Dont get me wrong, there may be one, he may say it, but I havent seen it yet. If he does say this, then I will then most likely call him a liar.

1. The administrator phoned Noble

2. Noble confirmed he immediately approached Cummins.

3. We have confirmation from Potter and from Cummins that that phone message (Noble to Cummins) was on the Monday. Therefore, the administrator phoned Noble on the Monday.
=#4000FF(Otherwise Noble would be lying when he claimed he "immediately" phoned Cummins;. "Immediately" is not a word that can be misconstrued. Are you with me so far?)

"We did speak later in the night" can ONLY mean the night of the same day the message was left. It certainly can't mean "we did speak one night the following week". And it was the same day as the night of the supporters' meeting. That is, MONDAY. Not any day last week.

sorry, you are right. the QUOTE that you just provided with Noble stating he was FIRST approached about this on MONDAY makes it crystal clear. Im just glad you provided that rather than a mixture of quotes from people.

FYI, I am not doubting that BN immediatley contacted FC on Monday following confirmation that he could take over. I am suggesting he had already been approached on THURSDAY about whether he would work for free.

I suspect he still might. Maybe I'm a bit pedantic but Noble uses the present tense in his comment to the T&A; I only [iwant [/i to do what's best for the Bulls - my feeling is that the door is still open or he might have said he [iwanted[/i to do what's best for the Bulls. I certainly hope so, and I also hope that he realises that the fans obvious, and deserved, liking and respect for Mick Potter doesn't in any way mean we don't want him; we do. Please come Brian!

God is this still ongoing . Aardvark i really dont get what youre trying to prove here?? All you have shown is that BN approached FC on monday. No one has disputed that. What we are saying is Nobby was asked if he would coach the club as BG needed to make redundancies. Bn accepeted this on thursday and quite rightly waited till the actual announcements befre approaching fc, he coulnt possibly do it earlier could he , without actually telling the coaches what was happening before the administrator did. The only quote from bn on monday was to confirm he immediately rang fc AFTER the sackings had happned.
