Whilst not trying to put any dampner on it, even if we get 10,000+ season tickets, which I'm sure we will, at this price point that won't always translate into 10,000+ people actually turning up each week. For £60 you can still pick and choose if you need to and still save money (I still won't be able to attend every game, even if I have a season pass and I want to, which I do, as it is just not logistically possible in my situation), so we could have the odd strange attendance of say,11,000 season ticket holders, 200 away fans, 500-1000 walk ups and get an actual crowd figure on the match day of >10,000 say for Salford on a miserable wet afternoon after a couple of rare defeats



But the plus side is the club already have the money up front and the fans can go to as many games as they want for an amazingly cheap price, everyones a winner!

I'm pretty sure the attendance figures count all tickets sold for the match, regardless of how many people actually show up. Since a ticket has been bought, it is classed as an attendance, then they just add on the "pay on the day" people to that figure.

Otherwise, you'd never ever get a full house attendance figure, as there's always going to be someone with a ticket who couldn't go on the day and their seat was actually empty.

I don't know about everyone else but I started to feel some of the old buzz back yesterday.

A couple of things:

1. We've managed to convince my City supporting brother in law to jump aboard, that's one extra person on the afternoon it was announced. Imagine if every season ticket holder got 1 totally new face to sign up (I mean, who wouldn't want to at that price!), never mind 2, 3, 4 extra people each!

2. Daft question - do you think it's clear you HAVE TO CONTACT THE CLUB and pledge. Or do you think some people might just think that's the price.
It was clear enough to me - I just hope there isn't anyway thinking it is just the price!

What happens if your season ticket is already a family package for the red section of the main stand, the only family deals announced as part of the pledge were for the terrace and paying £99 each for the kids as well in the main stand makes it roughly the same price as last year, particularly if you have an under 8? As someone who would like to pledge to at least renew their existing seats and contribute to reducing the price for everyone, what do I do, pledge to take four/five seats in the main stand at £99 and then find out it's cheaper afterwards to buy a family package or just not pledge and wait to see what the other deals they announce afterwards are? I'll give the club a ring and ask obviously, but I wondered if anyone else had come up against this?

You can add junior tickets at £45 and U8's free to your pledge, however only pledges of £60 or over count towards the 10,000. There are also two family packages: 2 adults 1 kid £150, 2 adults 2 kids £190. I hope the family deals count as 2 pledges (one for each adult), this isn't made overly clear?

There's no option for 'juniors' in the main stand as far as I can see - the £45 junior price is for the terrace, a junior price for the red section of the main stand last year was £92 so maybe they're just sticking with a one price offer of £99 for everyone including concessions, although this might be a little odd, as it would amount to preferential treatment for adults over juniors and other concessions - oaps etc.

It would be a good idea if the Bulls created a few facebook adverts to advertise the pledge. They can pay as much or as little as possible and target peoples interests e.g. rugby league, yorkshire, local universities, leeds rhinos, huddersfield giants

etc.

Looked for the email addresses for ppl at the club but couldn't find any. If anyone is in contact please pass the idea on.

Also what about Leeds festival this week/weekend, would that be a good opportunity to hand out leaflets?

I'm gobsmacked. I really am. I'm having text conversations and emails from people who have never been season ticket holders who are seriously tempted as well as lapsed holders that want back in. If other people on here are having these sort of chats with 5 or 6 people that have all sat up and taken notice then its happy days.

I simply cannot praise our club enough for this staggeringly generous, not to mention shrewd move. I haven't had a season ticket in 10 years but at this price, its madness not to.

I shake my head in wide-eyed wonderment. Wooop!

Knock off my admission price for when my team visits you and i'd only need to pop along on a Sunday to a few of the high profile games and I've still made a huge saving.

Not sure if this is allowed or not or potentially preventing true Bulls supporters of a chance of a season ticket?

You won't be preventing anyone else getting a ticket, as potentially there are 25,000 season tickets available. They've said they need at least 10,000 to pledge, I don't think that's the first 10,000 to pledge get them, I think it's as many as want them can have them, as long as the figure is AT LEAST 10,000 (or that's the way I've interpreted it).

Fans of other clubs are welcome to purchase them too I would say

The club are working on the assumnption that we'll get the 10k, and given the size of the ground there's room for everyone.

I'd say that anyone signing up would be welcome - its more incremental income for the club, more chance for people to see the club even if not as their first team, and more chance to make SL more accessible to anyone who wants to watch more than just theri local team but is deterred by the cost.

apparently what makes it even better .. ANYONE THAT HAS A SEASON TICKET THIS YEAR AND HAS BEEN TO ALL GAMES. will have 25 pound to use from the various deals that should be able to be carried forward to this years season ticket .. therefore £99 stand ticket costs £74 !! bargain!
