| Wayne Godwin drew us that match bgy diving in front of Sinfield's DG attempt.
Well done Wagga.
Orford was furious with Kearney, I don't think he realised it was the last.

| What a game. Bit ed writing this but it seemed to me like just a few pivotal moments cost us in the end. The c0ck up with the drop goal but beofre then a few errors. Losing Sykes on 60mins was a big moment, surely he now has to stay at stand off with Kearney adding zip at the back (how much ticker did he show to come back from the shoulder in the face?) and Hall too returning after a bad knock.
Great effort tonight, heartstopping finish. WE're just a player off winning those sort of games, hope we're not too burnt out for Monday wich looks like a dour game in the mud judging by the weather forecast.

| I thought we let them back into the game tonight, the two Lee Smith tries were gifts and we were also making a few to many mistakes we should have won tonight.

| Great effort but i left Headingley disappointed.
Reardon had a mare under the high ball. I would like to give him some defence for the first Leeds try though. He had to come in, i think it was 4 against 2. TBH i think all McGuire had to do was show dummy and he was in given the gap infront of him but took the safer option.
Plus at the end Kearney was looking for the pen. He obviously thought Leeds weren't square and as soon as he scooted he was looking at Bentham for something.
I'm not really sure how to reflect on losing a 20-6 lead in 20 mins to a team with 12 men for ten of those. I'm not one to really moan about ref, but a few calls went against us plus the bounce of ball.

| Is it just me or does everyone despise Ryan Bailey, the guy is just a pure thug, and a penalty machine. The amount of cheap shots from him tonight was mind blowing, and when Kearney was on the deck he comes flying in with a swinging arm towards his head. Just can't understand him, supposed to be a family game but don't think you can call it that with this toothless prat playing.

But is Scruton well known for being a dirty player? Don't think so. Everyone knows Bailey is known for being a dirty player and has been for a while, and have to say Scrutons tackle was legal, and was very well timed. Scruton has impressed me every game this season and i have to say it was a mistake you letting him go.

| Beastwood might smash a few burgers down whilst he's recuperating from his 'to much wrist action' injury. I'm sure he'll give up smashing his toy train after he hurt the wrist from to much of it though.
That's the only smashing he'll be doing though.

| I thought you where totally robbed tonight by an incompetent Ref. Leeds got all the 50/50s and the back to back penalties allowing them to waltz up the field were just down right criminal !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| Regarding the ref; it seems to happen quite often that a ref sinbins a player for 10 mins, and then starts to award penalties to that team to compensate for the loss of the player... or is it just me?
I thought the sinbinning of Buderus was the turning point last night

| I don't think the ref had any real impact on the result at all, Leeds just clawed it back.
For what it's worth, I thought you were head and shoulders above Leeds for 80% of the game.

| I'm not blaming the ref in anyway - we had enough chances to get ourselves out of trouble.
It seems to happen in most matches though when a man is sinbinned (not just ours)

| Looks like those of us who DID think Bentham went out of his way to help Leeds in the last quarter (and I see that includes a few Leeds fans too) will find a diplomatic Macca echoing that sentiment in the T&A report: "The Bulls chief was also left a little frustrated by the amount of penalties given against his team in the final quarter."
Quote ="Macca, reported in the T&A" We got a little anxious and I think some other people got a little anxious that Bradford were in front at that stage.
A couple of things went against us and we lost our momentum.
Fourteen points isn’t a lot in rugby league when the momentum swings your way and it swung there way.
I’m not blaming anyone at all, I think we should have closed that game off.
But it’s been like that for the last few weeks where a lot of 50-50 decisions haven’t gone our way.'"
"...some other people..."?

| All in all a good game and credit to both sides. I thought we (Bulls) should have won, but we made a few costly errors towards the end which Leeds took advantage of.
I still think Reardon is not a winger. His positional play in defence was very poor (he keeps coming inside rather than marking his opposote number) and he dropped a couple of high balls at a crucial stage of the game. On saying this, I have a lot of respect for him as a player and I'd like to see him tried out at centre instead of Nero. I know that Nero had a great game but he's one of these players who will have one great game then for the following 5 or 6 games he retreats into his shell.

| think kearney was looking for penalty as leeds were offside as when he was tackled looked at bentham but he didnt give it think all 50/50 calls went against us as big call in 2nd half where he said reardon knocked on if hed gone to vr hed have seen came off smith plus think in 1st half were nero tried to play ball with webb on floor not even trying to roll away was interferance and he gives a bulls knock on
thats my moan about ref
the plus points defo keep sykes at so as he really had a good game there and we missed him when he went off injuired.kearney will only get better at fb once harder pitches come and halley looked alot better on wing all id do is drop reardon as didnt have a good game and how many tries now has he cost us by coming too far in field id play either crookes or sherriffe on that wing
feel sorry for james donaldson as the lad looked gutted at the end but to be fair to him think it was a 2 on 1 ball steal rather then him losing ball

Hopefully Kearney will learn from this. It SHOULD have been a penalty but Bentham would never have given a penalty in that situation. I'm surprised they appointed him for such a big game, he is IMO the most inconsistent ref in SL. The amount of poor ref's we have is a big concern and quite a few touchies surely are close to retiring? Do we have enough quality coming through to replace the current lot though?

your spot on there as bentham didnt have bottle to give penalty.i cant remember when bentham had a good game for bulls as from wat i can remember always gives 50/50 calls to other team has the guy got it in for bulls or is the glare off his crome dome effecting his judgement
