If Halley is playing at fullback, Reardon is our best wing option. Sadly, our wings are very much our weakest position right now.

If Reardon is on the same level he was, then as an attacking FB that's a couple of levels above where Halley is (and I'm far from knocking DH) so SR would become the automatic choice.

Halley is ultimately a winger and given the dearth of wingers, there's no reason he can't continue to make his name on the wing.

I think definetly Wagga is a starter even though the new signing has come in!

I agree. L'Estrange has always been an interchange hooker and provides great impact from there.

Godwin had his best 3 or 4 performances for us from starting at the end of last season. 9. Godwin 14. L'Estrange seems logical to me.

Godwins also a number 2 hooker with less expereance in the big games than L'Estrange, i'd be worried if we went into the season with Godwin as our number one hooker.

Got to agree Reardon is by far the best FB at the club! Halley for me should be on the wing with Platt his !

Disagree we need Halley at FB to get the ball in his hand more often for the enthusiasm he brings to the side. Reardon too slow now for FB maybe we play him at centre?

If it wasn't for the complete lack of half decent wingers in the squad, I'd agree. But if Halley is at fullback, it leaves us with wing options of Reardon, Sheriffe and Platt. As far as wingers go, Reardon is absolutely miles ahead of those two. Platt proved he's a decent centre last year imo, but having him at fullback or the wing is still a huge mistake.

How do you know he's too slow, have you seen him train since his recovery from injury?

Mumby and Withers were never what you would class as quick and them 2 were probably the best 2 Fullbacks in the clubs history!

I'd still see how Halley goes first

I`d have halley on wing and get orford kicking to corner..he scored a few for us by doing that tactic..nearly won cas away doing it..he rarely beats first man when taking it up as hes too light..using his pace out wide might be better option and have reardon fb with his safe hands..saying that halley nearly always took ball on full and made a few good metres before coming up against defence.

The more I think about it the more I agree with the people that are saying Reardon. I think that his experience at organising the defensive line, and ability to read the game are big positives, and at the same time Halley on the wing is faster than Reardon, and his finishing is awesome as he showed when on loan at Wakey last year.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Godwin gets on after his great performances at the back end of last season, which is the same with Scruton.

given kearney managed 1/2 a games before getting injured and reardon didnt play at all I'd say kearney wins that comparison by default.

Depends how you define 'big season'. Players like Scruton, Langley, Platt, Sykes, Sheriffe and Godwin have the potential to be much better than they were last season for Bradford. For someone like Sculthorpe, however, his best days are probably behind him now so you shouldn't expect too much from him.

bit harsh lumping wagga in with some of other under performers imo. He was quiet at beginning of season admittedly, although in a badly struggling team, but was just starting to come good when he got injured. After he came back from injury he was one the best players during the late season run of form imo and really upped his game in newtons absence.

and langley played most of season with a shoulder injury, suffered at beginning of season at same time as the one which put solomona out pretty much for the year, which hes had surgery on in off season so whilst its fair to say langers hasnt kicked on as well as we hoped he would he does have a bit of an excuse for last year.
