We said no more players were going after savings made via redundancies, extra sponsorship and winterstein leaving. So money budgeted to pay carvell and sammut should now be available to fund a couple of extra players.

Surprised no ones commented on removal of speedway barrier. Would seem to kill dead all talk of speedway coming back. Would imagine costs of reinstating it would be much higher than amount club are getting for the scrap metal.

Can't see us spending money replacing a barrier that isn't necessary for rugby use of stadium.

Mason was on radio Leeds saying he was about to announce his retirement despite interest from a SL club. So looks like this rumor isn't a goer.
