Its going to take time for the team to gel, we matched Leeds for 60mins and we were outclassed by a very good Wigan team yesterday.
I for one didnt come away from yesterdays game dreading the next im looking forward to seeing us improve and im confident we will do.

Just hope we get our first win under out belt on Saturday and get a bit of confidence and if crusaders score first, DONT let our heads get down!

Crusaders have had a solid start to the season but we should be very confident heading over there. It would be nice to have Herbert in the side right enough!

Back on topic, after the way you played against Leeds, I expected a much closer contest this week. Could have, SHOULD have beaten Leeds, but thanks to some bad luck and questionable officiating, it was not to be.

It's a long time to the return fixture, good luck in the meantime.

Back on topic I'm expecting a better performance next weekend. It won't be easy but I can't see us getting a tonking from Crusaders like Salford did.

We've possibly had the hardest first two games to kick off our season. Added to the fact we have a new head & assistant coach as well as 11 new guys in the team including a new half back combination. These guys need to gel and that's made harder by the fact that our new half backs haven't been able to play together in a competitive game due to injury.

Had we come out with 2 points from the first 4, it would have been a bonus. But really, our season starts Saturday. Hopefully we'll have Herbert in to link up with Kearney and that should give us the ability to actually break that last line and score some points like we did in Cardiff.

With Rugby League? Certainly.

With you? Nah. Although it always pleases me to see one such as yourself get his come-uppance.

I will base my judgement on whether we hear the 50/50 comment on Herbert during the week....if we do I expect Herbert not to play!!! If we don't I would expect a very close run game!!

I hate to have a pop at Syekesy, who always gives 100% and will play wherever the coach tells him regardless of the flak that will enuse, but if we must have a Sykes playing No.6 against Crusaders then please can it be either Melanie or Eric.

Not unless someone else is willing to take him, he won't. He's under contract for another couple of years yet.

Difference was, Orford wanted to leave.

If nobody else wanted to take him on, on the same wages he's on at Bradford, why would Sykes possibly want to just tear up his contract with us?

ye what im saying is sykes might want to leave because he hasnt played enough 1st team for his liking because of players who are stronger in his position ie Platt.....Wagga left because he felt his 1st team oppertunities were going to be limited this year and i think end of this year sykes will do the same

You weren't great yesterday. Having said that, you were up against a champion team geared up to peak for the WCC. If I was a bulls fan, I really wouldn't be using yesterday's game as an indicator of what the season holds.

Personally I was taking game 1 and 2 with a pinch of salt but became disappointed of how we lost against leeds, I will be more interested to see how we do against Crusaders, that will give us a rough idea of where we are at!

This and the last post are where I am at the moment, there are going to be more ups than downs this season - bar injury disaster (touch wood)

Whilst Saturday is far from being a 'must win' it is the type of game that we need to pick up the points from if we want to finish at the top end of the table.
