Well the counter was at 11,016 before Ryan said you don't need to pledge to pay £60 so I think anything between 14,000 and 15,000 is pretty realistic.

Yeap i too got the same responce from the online ticket office but i may have confused it as i wanted to upgrade to a family ticket from a single adult ticket.
Will ring in instead.

Why? I've seen no evidence that suggests a significantly higher total that 11-12k will be achieved. So to say its realistic is a bit strong - unless you are now counting in the concessions that didn't count in the pledge total.

I used the online system earlier this week to renew my standing ticket and all seemed to work fine (although the e-mail included an attachment copy of the order, which was actually just complete gibberish). Got a reference number though and the money has gone off my credit card, so appears to have gone through fine.

The 14/15K figure comes from the 11,000+ adult members and the U16's, free U8's that didn't count in the pledge total.

Don't forget people still can and are buying Season tickets, so the final total could be anything. Would be nice to hear from the Club at the begining of the season what the actual total is. Having said that the first home crowd will tell us. At £60 a season ticket would make a good Xmas present!

Can someone tell me if its possible to buy a stand season ticket in the A block?

If not can you choose your seats or are they allocated to you.

Not sure about A block, but pretty sure you can choose your stand seat provided its not already allocated - may have to do it in person at the ticket office though if you want to be sure where you are.

I went up thursday morning and bought 8 together in B block. I chose which row I wanted so unless they've sold them all, the answer is yes you can choose from those not already sold.

From what I'm hearing you probably need to act sooner rather than hang about for stand tickets as it might sell out.

Not sure about the A block but if you buy a reserved seat seat then you get to choose out of the available seats.

Block A certainly used to be unreserved seating, I'd guess that it still is.

The answer is that all last season's reserved seats remain reserved until 18th October. So if you go up now, your choice will not include those. But from that date, they will release any which haven't been re-reserved for general sale, so seats which aren't available today, may then become available.

If the stand sells out how great is that?!? Sold out signs up before the season even starts, you would not have said that was even remotely possible back in August. Just shows what an impressive deal this is by the club.

That would be impressive. The "eyecatching" rate from the pledge was the £60 for the pop terracing. I fully expected that to be packed next season. Obviously I thought there would be a good increase in the main stand ticket sales but not in that amount

Hopefully the talk of sell outs and missing out will prompt even more to get tickets.

I was told that they are not at the moment taking seat reservations in blocks A & G, but that could change for the higher seats if blocks B, C, E and F were fully subscribed.
If they were that would be an awesome result.
Another thing is that I know of 4 supporters and a familly of 3 that are switching from pop side to stand tickets because of the cheap prices and will be under cover.

But where do we go to get away from the HKR fans?

I am led to believe that the 65,000 expected HKR fans will be accomodated not in the ground but by:
1. 32,000 on the old tip area at the back of the Coral Stand viewing from specially erected screens.
2. 32,000 in Valley Parade, viewing from specially erected screens.
3. 1,000 viewing from overhead gondolas floating under Zepplins

Well with the numbers of them in our ground you could always try east hull?? bound to be deserted, and the view is only slightly worse than the back of the rooley lane end!

This also explains why HKR are yet again late filing their accounts - they cannot agree with the auditors the correct accounting treatment for all those Zeppelins...

This has been a consideration but I am led to believe that the main reason for the delay in accounts submission is primarily due to a failure so far to find a venue for their AGM that would accomodate 110,000 supporters

Did anyone see the half-page spread in the League Express today for Huddersfield's Season Ticket scheme?

It has "No Pledges. This is a promise" written in the top left corner. Is that a swipe at our innovative marketing strategy?



I hope they're not thinking that some of their fans have jumped ship?
